Bought a set of these 2021-11-01. They worked great for a month, then the bluetooth connection failed. Sony replaced them under warranty. Pair 2 worked great for about a month, and then they too failed. Now Sony wants me to send Pair #2 in for a warranntee replacement. BUt why would I beleive the bluetooth function on Pair #3 is any more reliable than the first 2 pairs that failed.

I always wanted to try premium headphones so i decided to buy these in december. 400$ is a lot of money for headphones but it paid off. Its the best headphones that i ever owned. 100% would recommend. Great noise canceling and very comfortable. Battery is great with almost 30 hours. Look at it like an investment, i already know these will last for years. Overall these are amazing headphones.

These headphones Amazing the noise ambiance setting can pick up the slightest of noise like a pin drop and it’s crisp in your ear and if you change it to noise cancelling mode literally there’s four buildings under construction outside of my apartment and I can’t hear anything when I sleep all day. I really like the way the Bluetooth connects it’ll collect automatically to two different devices and switch automatically between those two devices the headphones charge really quickly I’m not sure that they would make the 30 hours that is advertised because I listen to them for about three hours and they’re already at 70% but they’re just so nice premium feel premium parts premium sound premium base meds and tweets the only thing that I regret about these headphones is that the XM5 Might just be a little bit better and from the reviews I’ve been reading they are but they also $150 more tax included so considering the XM fives were sold out I got the last pair of XM fours and I am very very happy with them I can watch TV play games listen to music all night long and none of my neighbours hear a thing I’ve got them hooked up to my 8K Qled And they rock definitely give them 4 1/2 stars out of five

headphones broke after 2 years of careful use.

The headphones won't turn on. I used them for 2 years...
I have a pair of B&W headphones that I've abused and used for over 5 years now, and they still work perfectly. I was super careful with the Sony headphones, yet they still broke after only 2 years of use.
Garbage.

Great sound, but the controls are not... the best

My wife got me these headphones and they are great for sound and very comfortable, however I find that the assiatant control is way to sensitive, just turning your head certain way will activate your device assistant(bixby, alexa, siri, etc). Overall they are great, specially the sound and bass, nust annoying how the controls work.

Great for Sound Sensitivity

These work great for my sensory issues. They do better with lower, constant sounds than sudden, high sounds (which I find is generally the case for ANC headphones). I'd say the noise cancelling is slightly better than my previous Bose QC35's. The headset design is a similar style to the Bose QC35, and I found both very comfortable when I wear them for long periods of time. While I prefer buttons to touch controls, the touch controls on the right ear are better than others that I've used. They don't go off as frequently by accident as cheaper headset touch controls. I'm surprised that I actually like and occasionally use the Speak-to-chat feature! I don't keep it on all the time, but sometimes it's nice to have when I know someone might be needing to interrupt me. I also didn't think the on-ear detection would be something I cared about, but really enjoy being able to take the headset off and pause what I'm listening to at the same time.

right cup occasionally has high pitch noise and I've had that Sony geniunely repaired twice for the same thing and also had the swivle break and repaired that myself. I'm glad they have parts available but qality control is atrociaous. I do not recommend this for the money. Yes exciting at first for its features but reliability is 1-star. I have recrete and sadly this will be my last Sony headsets.
