Product failed 2 months out of warranty

I bought these when they came out in Fall 2020 and loved them for the first year of using them. I live in a loud house, and I could just turn these on and tune it all out. I had some issues when pairing 2 devices at once, for example if my computer made a noise and I was listening to sound through my phone, the computer sound would override the phone audio, but I got used to just turning off my computer's bluetooth when I wasn't using it. About 2 months after the headphones were out of warranty (1yr) they started emitting a loud, highpitch screech from the right headphone, I contacted Sony who didn't try helping at all, and just directed me to a 3rd party service center. Consider getting an additional warranty, because it seems like spending ++$$$ on headphones isn't enough of a guarantee that they'll work for more than a year. So much for top of the line *shrug emoji*
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bluetooth works fine thru the pc and ipad but not through the smart tv . My Samsung smart tv has horrible audio lag to the headphones , connect my cheap headphones and no audio lag .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The sound quality for this Sony Model is top-tier in the market. EQ Settings are a ton of fun, and the noise canceling is remarkable. All around best headset I’ve ever purchased.

Sound is good but Technical issues

The sound came out good but it would randomly pause and then start the music again. It would randomly stop the music at least 3 times within one song. It also would not connect to my macbook no matter what I did.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the earphones at Best Buy about a year ago, and it took me a while to get used to them; specifically that Sony mentions that the "off" button must be pressed for 5 seconds to turn the earphones off. But they didn't turn off.
Calls to Sony finally established, that you MUST listen - with the earphones on, for the words "sound, off". I've never had a problem after that and carry the earphones everywhere on longer trips.

The sound quality is far above the rest, and they will also couple to 2 Bluetooth units; I pair mine with iPhone and iPad, all the time.
There are tons of other features, all programmable; but the only negative feature for me, is how too sensitive the right pad is; which contains all the sensors, if the listener accidentally touches the pad or lightly bumps it with the hand,

The Sony instructions are also far too basic, mostly consisting of pictograms, catering to various languages.
But they are still a cut above the rest, if you can afford it.

These sound very good, the noise canceling is great and they’re comfortable enough with glasses on, that you can wear them for hours. I’ve enjoyed everything about them so far, and have had them for a month now. Sure there are cheaper options out there, but the sound and build quality of these headphones are all around very good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
