Bought this to use with my Note 10 plus with a Otterbox defender case. Does not stay connected through the case. Charges for about 30 seconds then has to reconnect. Thought it would be more otterbox case friendly.

First of all, we upgraded our two phones to the iPhone 12 Pro Max in mid December. I purchased Otter Box Defender Pro cases for each phone and they went on the day the phones were delivered. When ordering the iPhones I included their MagSafe chargers to finally bypass having to plug up the phones for charging. After about two weeks of relatively little to no success in getting the MagSafe chargers to connect through the phone cases I returned them to Apple for a refund as they were mostly useless. I then started researching wireless Qi charger options and settled on the OtterSpot system and placed my order. The order arrived quickly considering the holidays and current conditions. After almost three weeks of use, I will say the OtterSpot wireless chargers are a pleasure to use, they connect with the phones easily without having to search for that frustrating "exact & elusive" placement spot of the Apple units. We just lay the phone on the OtterSpot and promptly get the charging indication sound and visual indication. The OtterSpot simply works as it should.
Worst product I’ve ever ordered. Does not work with OtterBox case. This charger is the worst thing I’ve ever ordered online. Please do not purchase this product. It is horrible.

Great idea to charge battery and phone simultaneously. BUT: Difficult to place phone (with Defender Pro case) on charger or battery so it charges, AND the placement is so sensitive that floor vibrations can move the phone off ideal charging spot. Charging light hard to see so you cannot easily discern if you are successfully charging, until you come back an hour later and find your phone is at a lower battery capacity. System needs work so phone can easily placed in “ideal” charge position.
