Outstanding value and performance in an easy to use format

Soild built machine. Fast, quiet and handles everything I need it to do so far. Setup was pretty straightforward and was up and running quickly. Typical Bloatware with any Windows 11 installation and easy to remove what isn't ever going to be used. Would recommend for personal use, small business use and general use. Have not tried for gaming yet but should be able to handle most. Too soon to say for sure, but probably not a full time gamer LT.

Beautiful design and an excellent upgrade for my software development needs

It's been about 6 years since I bought my last HP laptop. To me, that's an amazing feat. To create a machine that has held up to years of use. So, when I came to look for my next laptop, HP was at the top of my list. I upgraded to the higher line of machine, the Elitebook, and I am amazed with the design decisions that HP has made. First, it's USB-C charging, so it is a common standard and plugs right into my existing setup. The shell of the laptop is all metal, no plastic, and it is amazingly thin. Now on to the small things that HP added that I think are extremely thoughtful. The integrated camera has an integrated privacy screen. The slider is almost invisible. You just slide your finger across and you can see the screen move into place ensuring your privacy. Since this is a touch screen, it comes with a pen. My old laptop had a pen as well and this new one is upgraded. First, it has an integrated battery and is charged via USB-C as well. Then, and my favorite feature, is that it magnetically mounts to the side of the laptop, and it's a strong magnet. I'm really impressed. Since I do software development, I bought this laptop specifically for the upgraded RAM and CPU, and so far, I have been able to do everything I have wanted without slowing down the machine. If you are looking for a lightweight, high-quality machine with good design aesthetics, give this model a try.
