Sound Quality Isn't Good

The DVD does work (the CD has to face away from you, in order to play when inserted into player) and so does the motherboard (the area where you can plug your cables for gaming or antennas) I'm able to plug my playstation using the HDMI port. The sound is so far the only thing that is awful with this TV, the speakers are underneath the tv and just have no quality of sound. Sounds...cheap. There is no surround or bass sound to it. Sound is not really a big thing for me but it's really noticeable when you turn on the tv.
