FAILED DVD PLAYER

PICTURE IS FINE BUT AFTER PLAYING ONLY TWO MOVIES, DVD PLAYER WOULD PLAY AROUND 45 MINUTES AND THEN FREEZE.

Volumn/audio absent

TV purchased for kitchen. The audio does not go above a whisper. I frequently listen to music while cooking but the sound does not extend more than three (3) feet. Even when standing in front of set it is difficult to hear speech.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor voice control

Can not regulate voice to my satisfaction. Have adjusted bass and treble but voice remains harsh and not a soft voice. Also, maximum voice is not loud enough and can not increase it.

I enjoy the picture quality but vol is so low we cannot hear or understand. Can it be increased?

Have to use 2 different remotes.

Really like the TV/DVD but after connecting Xfinity cable and going thru set-up found the Westinghouse remote only shows 1 channel although auto-scanned over 130. Xfinity remote, after pairing, does pickup all my channels, but won't power the TV on/off - have to use the Westinghouse remote. Same with a few other functions, but after several frustrating hours I decided I'll get use to using both remotes. Otherwise the TV/DVD (even CD) features are all fine for an occasional use TV on the patio.
I would recommend this to a friend!
