[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really the perfect tool for releasing ice from walks and driveways.Thisice chopper is great on breaking thin and thick ice. It's a nice weight which makes it easy to break the ice. It's very sturdy and easy to handle. It's good for breaking and scraping ice. Overal super great .I highly recommend this ice scraper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Winters in New York are unforgivable, this ice chopper makes cleaning up after a snow storm a breeze. I have a long driveway and sidewalk, usually after a snowstorm clearing the snow and ice use to be backbreaking, now with this Spring-Loaded Impact-Reducing Steel Ice Chopper it cuts my work in half. Clean-up is a breeze and I'm back in the warm house in no time at all. Absolutely love this product, I brag to all of my friends and family about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is like a sledgehammer for ice. I love this thing! I didn't know I needed it until I had it in my hand tackling the ice in my driveway. Wow does it make that chore so much easier. The handle is easy to grip, and the blade chops right through the ice. I highly recommend you add this to you snow and ice removal arsenal. Great product!

Snow Joe Ice Chopper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a terrible ice storm last year where thick sheets of ice covered pretty much every walking surface. I was out there for hours trying to break up the ice. So this year, I wanted to get something that would make that a little easier. Luckily we haven't had as intense of a winter this year, but I do live in a wet and cold area, so we did still get a little bit of ice to try this out. It did break up the ice very easily. The blade is tapered thin enough that it was really crack through or get under the ice to break it up. The flat edge worked really well on the sides of steps. I'm a taller guy (6'2") and the handle did feel a little short for me, but overall it was still comfortable and easy to use. The width of the blade is pretty small, so clearing out a larger area like a driveway would still take a while, but I would still recommend it if you deal with icy surfaces often especially stairs and walkways.
