Horrible case

I upgraded from the buds 2 pro, and was so excited to get these bud 3 pro. I had them for less than a month before I started getting a notification on my phone saying my buds have quit charging. I sent them in to only be told that there was liquid damage due to sweat. I have never had a problem with this with earlier products. I regret purchasing these.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're excited to see that you took the leap to upgrade from the Buds2 Pro. We hate to see that you've had some challenges trying to charge your buds. If the earbuds are still not charging, check both the case and the earbuds thoroughly for any damage. Please note that damaged earbuds will not charge. If one earbud is damaged, the other earbud may still charge. If you find that either the charging case or the earbuds are damaged, you will need to purchase a new pair. Additionally, if your USB cable or wall adapter is damaged, you may need to buy replacements for those as well. Products sold by Samsung are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the limited 12-month warranty period specified for each product. We also provide the option to add additional coverage with Samsung Care+ on eligible devices, which offers extended protection and additional support. All eligible mobile devices can be enrolled on Samsung.com at the time of device purchase, or within 60 days of device purchase at samsungcareplus.com. Better than the competition

They aren't the competitor and I think that's just fine. I've always been an android person. I'm just not into the other options. I don't have a reason, it's just my preference. These earbuds are a great improvement over the last generation, which says a lot, because they were already awesome. I love the redesign. They look nothing like the last generation and that's ok, too. The silver finish is sleek and professional looking. The battery is long-lasting and the unit charges extremely fast. The sound quality is impressive, even in a loud environment and they stay put nicely. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend these.

Still getting used to it, the voice/sound adaptation feature throws me off. Not in a negative way, just made me noticed how much I speak to myself when I'm listening to a podcast and the volume automatically goes down because I comment something. To myself. Also, it does have better battery life then the Buds 2 pro. One con is that it's that the case does not have wireless charging capability

Terrible physical design

The physical design of the case and buds is awful. Unlike conventional design, the buds face ouwards when stored inside the case. For example, when trying to put the left earbud back into the case, you have the rotate the bud 180 degrees (or use two hands) so that it will face the opposite direction of how it goes into your ears. The stem of the earbud is short and not round which makes rotating it difficult and susceptible to it falling out of your hands when trying to put it back into the case.
The controls of the earbuds are not good. Pinching the earbud is not comfortable compared to tapping. The volume slider is inconsistent and requires too many repetitive inputs to go from minimum to maximum volume (and vice versa).
It is possible that these concerns were not brought up by product testers, or that they are simply not catered to my preferences, but I am still very unsatisfied with it after using it for weeks. I would recommend waiting for a new revision of these buds after they iron out the kinks. (Or use an older generation model)

Regarding the inconsistent volume slider, we recommend manually restarting your Samsung earbuds if you've recently upgraded to a new phone or are switching between connected devices. This can also help resolve minor issues, such as unresponsiveness of the earbuds.
