Needs improvement

I have had every iteration of galaxy buds and so far these are my least favorite. Number one issue is the noise cancellation, I can still hear conversations, dishes being done, microwave all over my music. If somone is vacuuming I can hardly hear my audio book playing. Past versions were much better. When quite the sound quality is good. What's annoying is if I pause my book then take out my headphones it will start playing again. The pause and play features are so wanky. Many times I accidently ended my call while adjusting the earbud fit. Not good for running as they will fall out, and my small hoops will constantly hit the stem of earbud. The battery also does not last nearly as long as past versions. Also doesn't come in fun colors. Hope next version is better.

End-User Feedback: Charging Case, Power Management
on February 1, 2026
Posted by: Chris
from 20002
Expertise:Expert
I’ve used these earbuds for nearly a year and have several usability and design concerns that I’d like to share.
First, since ear shapes vary, I had to purchase aftermarket ear fitments to keep the earbuds seated properly without frequently falling out. However, the charging case lid is extremely tight, and I have to remove the fitments every time I place the earbuds in the case to charge. This is inconvenient and suggests the case interior clearance and lid height should be increased to accommodate common fitments.
Second, when I remove the earbuds and set them down, they do not appear to power down automatically. A built-in idle timer or auto shut-off feature would help conserve battery life and improve the overall user experience.
Third, the charging indicator behavior is confusing. The current white light does not clearly communicate charging status. The LEDs should more clearly distinguish states—for example, showing red while charging and changing to a different color (such as blue) once fully charged—so users can quickly understand the charge status at a glance.
Fourth, when I pick up both earbuds at once, there is often a piercing high-pitched feedback noise that is uncomfortable and distracting. This should be addressed through improved handling detection or feedback suppression. Additionally, there should be an option to power off the earbuds via a press-and-hold gesture while they are in use.
Finally, the earbuds feel bulky in the ear and would benefit from a smaller, more ergonomic design.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you’d like more detail on any of the points above. I’d also be willing to participate as an end-user tester and provide feedback on devices prior to final approval and production release.

Hello there, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. After a long day, your earbuds will need to be recharged. Remember that the charging case also has its own battery. Place the earbuds into their designated slots in the case and close the lid. Please note that if the battery is fully drained, the case or earbuds may take at least 20 to 30 minutes to turn on. For more details on how to properly charge your Galaxy Buds3 Pro, please refer to our online article linked below. Also, if you notice that the audio quality isn't meeting expectations, it might indicate that a software update is needed. Running an outdated version could harm audio performance. We appreciate your feedback and hope you find these resources useful. Thank you for choosing Samsung! The battery life of your Samsung earbuds https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10001314/

Causes skin irritation
on December 11, 2025

Eartips caused me skin irritation in ear and had to visit doctor because of it. Same happened with buds 2 pro. Irritation goes as soon as I stop using them and switch to a different pair of buds.

Can't really use them yet, due to poor quality ear bud tips. Haven't try to change ear tips, because ear tip look like there's already showing cracks or tears with limited use.
