The machine is alright and has some cool features but I don't like being FORCED into using Outlook, a gmail account that I clicked "NO" on, and some other things. Microsoft is an extremely INVASIVE creature! Right down to wanting my birthdate? Really?! There is no reason that I can think of why they need that!!!! And I couldn't skip it or proceed setting up without it. I tried half a dozen different dates that it kept rejecting, until I put in my actual date, then I was good to go. If they already knew it then why the ***k were they asking? Not happy about those things at all.
You can’t go wrong with an HP. This laptop is super fast and so easy to use . Shipping was fast set up. Instructions were easy. I highly recommend it and I love the new processor.
I really like my new laptop. It is much thinner and sleeker than my last one and with the same screen size. I'm not a fan of the power cord placement that puts USB ports behind the cord that sometimes catches the USB thumb drive that I use there. The keyboard is set up pretty much just like my last HP laptop with the exception of the power button that is no longer separated from the keyboard but is actually integrated into the top row at the end of the function keys - a little strange but so far hasn't caused any issues.
