So far it seems like a good computer. Easy to install. However, the color is strange. I'm still trying how to fix the background color. I is currently a white with a heavy brown tint which is not easy to use. I do not understand why the standard color would be strange.
Hugely disappointing. I purchased this laptop because it represented the 2024 version of the Envy I purchased in 2016 which I loved and would still be using except the keyboard is dying. This is my 3rd HP laptop. The camera is awful, and the microphone worse. Clients cannot hear what I'm saying. A headset has not helped. I'm ready to send it back to the CEO; they deserve to have this frustrating experience.
Power Button Next To Delete Button - Makes no sense

I believe the unit will perform as I expected - but absolutely hate that the delete button is next to the power button in the middle of the keypad and is small. I will never understand why it is positioned in that location. I may return it since it is so easy to miss the delete and I don't want to deal with that on a daily basis
I’ve had problems with the screen going black and at that time you have problems Xing out to shut down. This computer has major problems I don’t recommend it.
I really wanted to like this laptop. I had a 17 inch HP for the past 5 years and it was amazing! No problems until recently when it refused to charge (even after going to get it fixed). That being said I figured it was time for a new one. I chose this model because it had good reviews and I hoped it would be similar to my 2019(?) hp envy. Unfortunately it has not been. The first couple of weeks were good so I thought I was good to go. The last few weeks have been rough though. It’s been really slow (even though I got a temporary laptop and that one works fine with the wifi) so I don’t think it’s my internet. It’s shut off multiple times while I’ve been working despite being fully charged, it has also glitched when I have tried to switch tabs (I have a video of this) and most of the time I have to reload my webpages (although the other people who use laptops in my house don’t have to, and again when I use a loaner laptop — it’s fine). Also I feel like the sound on this laptop isn’t great it’s kind of muffled — both when you create videos (I record lectures) and when your are on video calls. I also am not the biggest fan of the keyboard. I know you can get external keyboards but I travel a lot and don’t really enjoy bringing another item. I’m pretty bummed because I wanted to like this laptop as much as my first Hp. It just hasn’t been the right fit. It’s also heavier than my old one. It is a pretty design though, and I like the new port for charging, and the physical shutter for the camera. I really wanted this to work! Unfortunately I don’t think it’s the laptop for me and my needs.
Lots of USB ports. Touch screen works well. Only negative so far is 100w power draw. Machine and charger brick running hotter than I expected. Less than one month owned, so time will tell if heating is a real issue and how well the machine holds up.
