Out performs gas single stage

I first need to preface, I typically never write reviews, but for this unit I absolutely had too! Prior to my snow joe purchase I owned a gas powered single stage. I hated filling it with gas but but mostly I hated smelling like it when I finished, so I opted to go electric. Wishing I went with the battery powered unit but the cost plus two batteries was out of my budget. I went electric corded. Yes I will admit it’s a little weird, it’s like “vacuuming the snow,” the advantage is without worrying the batteries will die. Moving forward this is why I am 100% sold and say this is the best money spent. It far outperformed my gas powered toro! It handles the heavy loads, light loads, throw more snow farther and hardly ever clogs up! Honestly my expectations going into this were “well something is better then my smelly gas unit?” No the opposit it’s amazing and far better then expected. I live in Wisconsin where we get snow, and this season has been especially terrible. If you were like me on the fence, no worries my friend, this is your unit! I guarantee it!

The 15 amp motor handled 3 inches of wet, heavy snow from our last storm, including the slop dumped by the city plow on the apron of the driveway. The 12 gauge power cord required is heavier, but well worth the results

I purchased this on line. This has lots of power and is easy to use. I was amazed that it works as well as it does. If the snow is heavy and wet it still works good, just need to take your time. It beats shoveling. I would recommend this.

This product is lightweight and very easy to use. It comes 95% assembled and it really moves some snow for its small size. Since buying this we have only got 6 inches of snow but this baby just went through it like butter. It is so quiet compared to my neighbors gas powered beast, we all know when he's blowing without looking out the window, with this I can zip out and am done and don't wake the neighborhood. I recommend this product. 5 stars

The Snow Joe was the 18 inch ,15 amp.It was lightweight but moved in the snow like our past big machines. I have used it multi times 2017/2018 we have had many snow storms. I have the the Snow Joe with the cord I love not needing gasoline !. My kids used machine because of the safety handle, when you release your hand the machine shuts off so I had no worries when the kids used it. I love this Snow Joe !
