I live in Michigan and we have had a tough winter so far. Several snowstorms dumping 8-12 inches each time. This past Friday night dumped 9 inches but the snow drifts were big. Woke up Saturday morning and had 4 foot drifts on most of driveway with the rest at least 10 inches. My driveway is 3 stalls wide and this great product did the whole drive way in one hour. Then I did the side walks and in front of the mail box. Total time 1 hr 30 minutes. This snow blower handled it like a champ. Love it and would recommend it to everyone.
Pros: Lightweight, Maneuverable, Throws Far, Clears to the Pavement
It's easy to set up and use straight from the box. If you don't expect too much you won't be disappointed. It works great on fresh snow and really cleared my deck well but by the time I got to the driveway the snow was starting to get wet and heavy so it only threw it about three feet, straight onto the bit that I had just ploughed. I tried it on the pile that the city plough had left me at the end of the drive and was surprised that it moved it. If you use it as you would a lawnmower on long, wet grass it will cope quite well. It's a lot cheaper than a gas plough and obviously not as powerful but a lot easier than using a shovel

Great snow blower! We don't have a large area to clear - 40 feet of driveway and about 60 feet of sidewalk. It easily clears 4-5 inches of snow - we haven't had more than that. Advice: get a very high quality cord rated for very low temperatures. Don't try to save money on the cord. It makes a huge difference. Cord handling is tricky....yes, I chewed up a cord on my very first time out. Get one that stays flexible and you'll have no trouble once you learn to handle the cord. This is a great blower, especially for the price. Highly recommended!!
Pros: Lightweight, Maneuverable, Throws Far, Clears to the Pavement, Easy To Use

Naturally, it didn't snow for a month after we purchased it. However, we did get 4" of snow this past week so I used it for the first time. It worked great! I used it to clear my driveway & sidewalks. It took me about 15 minutes to clear what would have taken a good hour by shovel. It cleared down to the concrete with ease & was easy to maneuver. One of the big decision factors was the fact that it was electric & would be something my petite wife would be able to start & handle should it be necessary for her to do so. It definitely fits the bill. I didn't use the light as I had plenty of light from my outdoor house lights & the nearby street light. It threw the snow a good 20 feet. It was also extremely easy & quick to assemble - probably 5 minutes total including opening the box! So easy a caveman could do it!
Pros: Clears to the Pavement, Throws Far, Lightweight, Maneuverable
Handled 8" of snow no problem. It even out blow my neighbors' gas powered ones, distance wise. It does move wet snow but you just have to do it at slower pace which is the same with gas powered units. Dragging the cord does take some getting use to but no a big problem for me. I've done some research on this one and it pays off!
Pros: Maneuverable, Throws Far, Lightweight, Clears to the Pavement
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought it on Sunday afternoon, took it home and set up in five minutes, reviewed manual and went right to work on our four car driveway. Cleared a four inch snowfall with ease. Cleared eight inches of snowon ahundred foot path in backyard lawn to alley in skinny minutes. Will save my back for sure. Great little unit.
Pros: Clears to the Pavement, Throws Far, Lightweight, Maneuverable
We needed a snow blower to clear our deck of snow by throwing the snow over the glass enclosed railing since we are in our 80s and can no longer do it by shovel. Our first test was with 10 inches of snow-the unit worked well and easily threw the snow off the deck over the railing. Happy now and hope the unit lasts since it will only be used for this purpose.
Pros: Easy To Use, Easy to store, Lightweight, Easy to assemble
I bought this because I was tired of lugging around my old gas-powered beast of a blower. It works just fine for my needs: A 20' 2-car driveway and small sidewalk area. It's a bit of a pain making sure the extension cord stays out of the way while I'm using it but that's to be expected with electric-powered tools. This snowblower works great for light, dry snow. It easily handles up to about 6" of dry snow but struggles with heavy wet snow that's more than a couple inches deep. It also will not handle hard, chunky, icy snow and the plow pile, but that's ok too. It does what I need it to do...clear the driveway quickly. As long as I don't let the snow pile up too high, it makes quick work of it. I was also surprised that it throws a good distance (about 10' or so), didn't expect that from this small blower. Bottom line: Don't buy this for heavy-duty snow removal. It's perfect for lighter snow in smaller areas and I am happy I bought it.
