Good snowblower with a faulty wheel assembly.

We have owned two other brands of similar snowblowers which only lasted one season so we had high hopes for this Snow Joe blower. It may have worked fine except for one fatal flaw. When we opened the box the axle and wheels were not installed, and nothing was mentioned in the instructions. After searching through the bottom of the box we found two tiny c-clips that were not packaged in any way. Once we were lucky enough to find those, the installation was pretty obvious, but it turned into a nightmare. My wife and I are generally pretty handy, but it took the two of us over an hour to get those c-clips snapped onto the axle. The process of getting them on expanded them to the point where they pop right back off, and of course are immediately lost in the snow. This new snowblower is now a worthless piece of junk sitting in our garage. This unit should either be shipped with the wheels installed, or shipped with a much better system for assembling them. Too bad, we had great hopes for Snow Joe to be the brand that would last more than a season, but it lasted less than one day.

Does the job on light snow. Both my gates were frozen so it was possible to easily carry it through the house to do the front and back of the house. This unit was referred to me and I have also done the same for a co-worker. Great product so-far. My gas unit is stored away and of course would not start when I needed it. Now I just push the button and I'm in business.

It cut my workload in half and for the price, it is AWESOME! I almost bought the Toro, but I bought a refurbished snowjoe for a great price. I totally recommend it and can't wait for the snow to hit so that I can use it again.

This little snow blower was useless in the 36in we just rec'd last weekend in Northern Virginia. Actually I'm just kidding. It was helpful somewhat this last weekend. But in 10in or less this is a fantastic little machine. I agree with one of the other reviewers - get the good low temperature extension cord - its worth it. Overall if you don't get tons of snow and your back can't shovel for hours - get this snow blower. It is relatively inexpensive and does a great job. I have no complaints. Easy to set up and use. Go SnowJoe!!

Bought our first ever snow blower to take some of the pressure off a bad back. Took five minutes to set up. First snow of the year (2-4 inches last night). The Snow Joe worked perfectly to expectations. Nothing extraordinary, but it did the job and we got it at a great price. So far we are most happy with it and fully recommend this product to others.
