Great lightweight, my shovel is nearly unused. The light is not really useful getting covered by snow. Have used twice, first hard crusted snow at mountain cabin deck, anything over a foot was a waste of time, just wanted to see what it could do in 2 to 3 foot deep snow. At the house in town has worked great in up to a foot and sends the snow plenty away from path.
Pros: Lightweight, Throws Far, Maneuverable
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have not had this amount of snow in our area like we had this season for many years. My back was getting tired shoveling all the snow that has fallen this season. I purchased my new SJ623E February 6,2014. I have used it 4 times since purchasing it. It has performed better than I expected. It easily pushed its way through more than 6 inches of fresh snow and can handle small amounts of wet snow with no problem.
Pros: Lightweight, Throws Far, Clears to the Pavement, Maneuverable
Cons: None
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used my Snow Joe for the first time this morning to clear 6 inches of snow from my driveway in upstate NY. Not only did it take care of all of the snow, but chugged right through the icy, slushy mess at the end of the driveway that the town plows had left behind. I watched a video of this at work before deciding to buy it and I am so glad I made the right decision.
I bought this snow blower in anticipation of a snowy winter. Well the other day we had 15 centimeters(6 inches) of snow and this baby went through it , no problem. While I’m not sure she’s 5:00AM quiet, she is not where near as loud as the gas equivalent. As a woman, I wanted easy to operate, light and efficient. This girl checks every box!
I purchased this only to make a few paths on the brick patio for our small dog when he went outside. It worked so well that I have all but retired my huge snowblower and just use this. It is also so portable, that I can throw it in the trunk and take it over to my 90 year old father's house and do his driveway. The cord is an issue at first, but after a few practice runs, it is easy to use. Just purchase a good quality cord that does not get stiff in the cold weather.
I cleared a large driveway that had sat with 14 inches of snow for several days. Consequently, the snow on the bottom had turned to heavy slush. the Sno Joe cleared it without a problem and threw the heavy slush twenty feet off the driveway. It also cleared the icy build up from the snow plow at the end of the driveway. I did have to take smaller passes on the icy mound but it cleared it. My Honda 3.5 HP snow thrower that I replaced with the Sno Joe never was able to move slushy or icy snow. The chute jammed constantly if the snow was the least bit melted or solidified. the only reason I didn't give it a five star is because of the cord. it is a bit cumbersome but I believe as I use it more often i will become used to being attached to the cord.
I have owned three snow blowers in the last twenty five or so years; two of those have been Sno Joe's. My first Sno Joe still operates after 7 years but needs some refurbishment (skid plates, etc.), is a little smaller and doesn't have a light. In 3 of those 7 years the area I live in had record snowfalls so the machine saw well above "average" duty and performed extremely well in our cold temperatures with far less maintenance than my gas powered blower. I have approximately 120 ft. of sidewalk, 12 ft. of driveway and about 600 square feet of patio to clear. While this new (my 2nd) Sno Joe has seen limited use so far I expect it to perform every bit as well as the first. The machine arrived well packaged and took approximately 20 minutes to unbox and assemble. From experience I can say that the Sno Joe snow blower performs every bit as well as advertised - or better!
