This thing has handled everything I have thrown at it. I use it to clear both my decks and my front sidewalk as well as the backyard area where my three dogs go. Snow, ice, and mush, it throws them all. Great product for a very reasonable price.

I've used this snow thrower all winter under mostly wet snow conditions and up to 24" of snow from my roof and it has performed great. The blower runs easily through 6" to 8" of powder The best part for me is the rotating chute. The snow comes out atomized as a fine powder and is thrown wherever I want. The 15 amp motor is powerful and the 18" width allows me to cut into deep piles of snow where wider blowers may bog down because of the amount of snow at one time. When I rake snow from the roof, piles of packed snow can be removed easily with this thrower. This thrower is perfect for any deck or walkway snow removal. Oh, golly gee, it'll do a driveway if you need it to! CUDO's to the manufacturer that made it right

I've used this a number of times and it handles the snow surprisingly well. Only issue is keeping the cord out of the way but that's just the nature of that problem. Gets down to the sidewalk when you tilt the handle up. Sometimes bogs down and you have to take the snow in smaller chunks but less than 6" or so it pushes through pretty cleanly. Cranking the shoot left and right could be smoother and one of the top shoot bolts came out after a couple times but was easily replaced. Throws snow as far as you would expect, not great but usable depending on your situation.

The Snow Joe 15Amp is a great solution for driveways, decks, and my yard that I clear the snow for my dog. It throws the snow a great distance and works with both light and heavy snow. It does not move the snow that the plow leaves behind, but other than that it works great. Light, portable, and easy to use.

If you've ever used one the these beastlike gas-powered blowers, you will definitely be impressed with how lightweight this thrower is, and yet is able to cut an 18" path through several inches of fresh snow with only a pass or two. Just what the long-term life of the unit is, it's yet to be determined. But I am enjoying it's capability as a relatively inexpensive way to clear a path or driveway.
