I really like my new little snowblower, I am 67 years old and can't handle a big blower. This is just perfect for me. Now I can clear my driveway and sidewalk and don't have to shovel. For someone who lives in Minnesota this is huge, especially this year.

Mean Blue Machine Hard at Work

It is small but if you are patient it can do a lot of work. We had lots of snow this winter and the SJ623E can move it from place to place to clean the driveway. You bring the snowbank to an acceptable height and the blower takes it from there. The blower works best when blowing directly to the front.

in 15 minutes after you unbox it, you can be clearing your path, easy set up. The machine is light and easy to maneuver. Remember to get a power cord rated for all weather and a 15 AMP rating ( you don't want to void the warranty!). For my drive I would need a 100' cord. Use an outlet that has a minimum of 20 amp breaker running it, or you might be reseting it from time to time. Robust augers made of rigid steel with rubber wipers should last an awful long time! Oh, one more thing go and get a can of silicone spray and coat all the surfaces that are part of the removal process. This will reduce that tendency of snow and ice to build up. I use WD 40 brand SILICONE spray as it states it is safe fore both metal and plastic surfaces. The next snow fall, with Snow Joe,, you will be finished before you realize it!

Awesome time saver

So simple anyone can-use it. I purchased this in 11/20 for my husband for his birthday. This morning on1/22 has been the first time he has been able to use it. He loved it! No having to snuggle with backbreaking shoveling!! What a time-saver, too!!

Worked fine until it died

I got my 623E just over 4 yrs ago and maybe got 40 mostly light uses out of it. Last month it quit after it got increasingly difficult to start so I suspected the safety interlock switch. Luckily I got the extended warranty and I finally received a replacement unit after fedex took 2 weeks to get it to Idaho from NJ. It did the job when it functioned and I guess for what I paid for it the blower was an ok purchase. Another problem I had was the cord becoming unplugged even using the jig provided to make a knot. The connection between the unit and the extension cord even on this replacement unit is just too loose. I also just bought a battery blower from another brand so now hopefully with 2 blowers I won't be without one that works after 16 inches of snow which occurred recently.
