Scraper blade will break & there is no replacement

The product worked well however some of the parts are extremely low quality plastic (e.g. scraper blade) which will eventually break. Mine lasted less than one season(3-5 uses). The replacement scraper blade hasn't been in stock for >2 years so it is basically useless.

Better than expected !!

I've used this snow blower all season and its amazing ! Way better than expected !! Works in all snow conditions in a Canadian winter and I have a large 4 car driveway. Even cuts through the snow bank at the windrow that the City snow plough leaves behind.

Disappointment!!

Purchased this product to replace my gas blower as my yard just isn't that big, worked great the first time, broke the plastic scraper bleade on the second use, spoke with someone and luckily it was under warranty, fast forward 45 days later after having to shovel 2 storms so as not to break any further, and I cannot even get a representative to talk to me, let alone that I still haven't even got a shipping email so it should be summer before I can use my blower. Blower itself worked great when it did, customer service however is another thing, very much regretting this purchase

great blower until you run over the cord

Loved this blower - worked for 18" of light snow. Great until I ran over cord (laying in snow) and cord got stuck in blades. SnowJoe has no service areas.

Awesome once you figured out your cable management

I live in Montreal where we are constantly blasted by big snow storm. I have a ~6 cars driveway. At first I got a small 40V snowblower from other manufacturer, and soon realized they are not made for the size of my driveway and the kind of snow we got here. For me high power battery powered snow blower with extra battery simply cost too much that I may as well just pay for snow removal service.

Then I realized I actually have a plug at my garage door so decided to give this Snowjoe a try. It works wonder and even with extension cable plus a cable reel it still cost way less than half of an equivalent cordless model. Not to mention unlimited run time when you are hit by those big storm.

The cable can be a bit annoying, but once I figure out a pattern to work so the cable doesn’t get in my way anymore it become very easy to use. Do note my CB breaker for the plug I am using for this blower did pop a few times. If you have an old house with old fuse box or electrical panel, or only have GFCI plug available maybe consider the 14.5 Amp model just to be on the safe side.

Broke in the first five minutes

I purchased this machine because I need something that will take less effort to clear my driveway in the winter time. We got a good snowfall (7 inches) and I was anxious to use it for the first time. Within the first five minutes the scraper on the bottom of the machine broke into 5 or 6 pieces and the discharge chute cracked in 3 places. Called customer support number and got a recording and a prompt disconnect. I am going to put it in the trash and go get a lightweight gas machine instead.

Pretty good product- terrible customer service

Bought the snow blower for MN winters in December, scraper bar broke on the 4th use. Seems to be a normal occurrence for this model. Snow blower works well when all the parts of there, but naturally all of the replacement parts are "out of stock". I followed up via chat and it's been almost two weeks with zero response from Snow Joe. If you buy this, pray it does not break (it will, its mostly plastic) otherwise you will be on your own cause Snow Joe wont help you out at all. Two stars are simply for the fact the product works well for the price point, zero stars for reliability and customer service.
