Does What It Is Intended to Do

I have found the Snow Thrower Model SJ627E to be an excellent value for its price, and it performs just as it is intended to. It has been effective in snow up to 7.5,” performing much better than I had expected. If you live in a place with relatively moderate winters, as I do, I think you’ll find this product quite useful. Of course it has its limitations, but what piece of equipment doesn’t?

Lasted a year, replacement parts never available

Lasted one year. Belt snapped. I have been checking the parts store and even signed up for an email alert for when a replacement belt will be available. That was in Feb 2025. It is almost September. Winter is around the corner. As another poster wrote, I have an expensive paperweight.
They designed the machine that standard belts do not fit properly. If SnoJoe cannot supply the parts, they need to find a vendor who can.

Excellent snowblower for modest snowfall ex. 5 inches. Plow before snow hardens for best results.
I walk with a cane but this unit steadied me and I was able to use it myself!

Don't waste your money on this.

Only lasted two years. Same issue as many people with safety switch/starter button housing rubbing against the power cord and stopped working. I managed to take apart the housing to splice wires back together and then it only worked until I was half way through clearing the driveway when the auger stopped working. Waste of money.
