Love this

Love this snow thrower. I am a 60 something woman and I do most outdoor chores and maintenance here. I was able to assemble this on my own in less than an hour and love the light weight, I think around 30 lbs. So much easier to get around the house and drive.

The snow blower is a very nice surprise - works very well, used it in 4-5" of snow and more than that on the end of the driveway where the plow had piled up a ton. It went thru the 4-5" very well and the 7-8" at the end of the driveway, I had to take the top off first then the bottom, but even with having to do that, it worked very well. The cord is a bit of a pain but I had a gas powered prior and would much rather work with the cord than the gas. I have a small driveway (1-car) and it did a good job - right down to the pavement.

Works better than expected

Used it twice..... worked better than expected, sounded strained when blowing greater than 6 inches but never died. Easy to push but the tires are pathetic, cheap plastic, no grip, no rubber, I would get rubber tires, add $20 to the selling price and you'll have a possible game changer. Still beats shoveling and at 50% less cost than a gas version. Go SnowJoe!

Buy a gas snow blower

My driveway is not big so I thought I could get away without having a gas snow blower. I used this snow blower about 8-10 times over the course of two years and several months out of warranty it breaks. Now I can't get a replacement pulley from Snow Joe nor could I even get the broken pulley off the machine. I do have to say that the snow blower did decent job on powdery snow up to about 6 inches. If the snow was wet or frozen (like the end of my driveway) it couldn't handle it. Do yourself a favor and get a real snow blower (too bad I didn't listen to my neighbors before I made this purchase).

Quite nice, Decently Powerful

Under the circumstances this is very powerful. Cord is always an issue, but it was an issue I chose to deal with. WOULD LOVE to purchase a 240Volt 20-24Amp version. I have a car charger outlet that with the right configuraiton would be an awesome way to operate a snow blower. Unplug car charger, use blower, plug car charger back in... See photo for proof this can out perform it's intended use.

I have a driveway protected by two walls. This snow Joe eats up the snow and throws it over the walls. Just what I was looking for in a Machine.

The little Snow Thrower that could!!

I wasn't sure how this would hold up with the snow we get here in North Dakota but I'm a believer now!
We had a blizzard over the last few days - 27" of snow!
I had drifts over 30" deep - I used the shovel to knock the snow down and then my Snow Joe to clear it away.
If I would have had to use the shovel only it would have taken me days to clear all this snow, but with the Snow Joe I cleared my sidewalk and driveway in about 2 hours!
I love this thing - no gas or oil and it starts every time!!!!

Amazing!

Wow! Just switched from a big gas powered snow blower to this Snow Joe. Had it in the garage, ready for winter. Yesterday, we had the biggest blizzard we’ve had in years. 40 cm+ snow and big wind that created huge drifts. I was a little sceptical that the Snow Joe was up to the task. The first snow I tackled was twice as high as the blower. It plowed into it and gobbled it up. As the high snow fell down, I just backed up and pushed into it again. Didn’t miss a beat. The motor powered through everything. Lots or torque! Throw distance was great. The chute didn’t plug at all. Thankfully the snow wasn't wet/heavy, but I’m thinking it would only slow the blower down a bit. The cord is a bit of a pain, but okay when you get used to it. My wife tended the cord for me and this made things much easier. About halfway through the driveway, we switched and she could handle the blower with ease. We definitely put this machine through it’s paces first time out. Very happy!
