Works OK but poor quality and won't last

The snow blower works OK and is lightweight, but quality leaves a lot to be desired. Halfway through the first winter the snow blower started vibrating so badly that the tightening bolt for the handle would shake loose. Snow Joe replaced this under warranty without much issue but then the replacement unit started doing this the following winter and was not eligible for any warranty support. So it works OK but I wouldn't buy again because the quality seems closer to being a "disposable" item rather than something you should expect to rely on for multiple years. Worth spending a bit more $ on a snow blower with higher build quality.

plastic parts

I don't recommend to other to buy this, Because of the plastic pulley. very poor designed.

Parts are impossible to replace

The blower was actually not bad while it worked. Had it for 2 months, while clearing some thick snow, it hits an uneven pavement and the auger broke.
It's been a year, the part is not available. If you buy it and it breaks, it's game over.

I got this at the end of last winter needing to use it only a single time in some light snow after I got it. This year we finally got a snow so I got this snowblower out. Unlike a traditional snow blower there was nothing to service, I simply plugged it in and started blowing snow from the driveway. I was very happy about that. Unfortunately I didn't get to finishing using the blower as it injested a piece of ice from the snow plows that had gone by on the road. This cracked the thin steel of the auger rendering it unusuable. Normally, I'd have some choice words and would order the replacement part. Not with Snow Joe. Apparently parts are not a concern as according to reviews I've seen in researching both on this site and elsewhere, several parts haven't been available for YEARS. Not weeks or months.... YEARS! Looking at the parts for this model today there are way more parts that are out of stock than in stock. So, it appears that I've wasted my money and learned an expensive lesson. I'll be avoiding this brand in the future.

This snow blower is the strongest snowblower I've ever owned for an electric model we've just had eight inches of snow and it cut through it like butter the machine never clogged once.

Amazing Snow Blower For The Price

Just got to use this for the first time on 4 inches of snow/slush after it was soaked from rain and it worked great. It didn't throw the slush very far but it threw it far enough to clear about 125 feet of my alley with ease.
