This snow thrower does the job!

I didn't want to mess with gas and oil from a regular snow blower so I went electric. This snow thrower has worked very well. Even when we just had over a foot of snow, this worked well. I did smaller rows but that was just fine. I got used to the cord quickly because I have a smaller Snow Joe snow thrower that worked so well, I decided to upgrade. I do like Snow Joe products.

Great to assemble. Quick and easy. First used In wet snow about 5 inches deep. Moved slowly at first. But cleaned better than expected.

Bought this very reasonable priced electric snow blower Feb 2019. I truly was amazed at how well it worked this past winter. Handled everything from this winter. I was really on the fence about electric snow blower but after using mine on the first day all my concerns evaporated. Just had to get used to using the cord with it but after a couple of uses it I got it down. Love the fact of the almost zero maintenance. No oil or gas to have to deal with. I recommend this product 100%

Tough little guy

I've had this unit for 3 seasons now. It's performed very well. Today's snow was 8" of powder and it ate through it easily. It doesn't do nearly as well in wetter snow, but it still performs admirably. It has a few minor flaws, the wheels are jank, the discharge chute doesn't want to stay put, and the safety button is kind of awkward. It's still a great little machine and a good value.

Great snowblower for wet or dry snow!

I live in an apartment complex with a garage unit and the managers won't clear the parking lot unless there's more than 6 inches of snow (don't get me started). I didn't want gas powered because I don't want the gas can sitting in my garage, so I bought the Sunjoe SJ627E electric snow blower after doing a lot of online research. I have to admit, this little machine can blow some snow. You will have to put in some work to move it through the snow because it's not a self-propelled machine. If you have a large job with a lot of heavy, wet snow you will definitely run out of gas before the snow blower does. Also, if you're not careful to make sure the blower remains level with the pavement, the bottom portion of the unit will get caught on seams in the sidewalk or driveway, so just be aware of that. Since it needs a power cord, it's not really meant for massively large jobs, but this thing is a beast on mid range to smaller jobs.
The only con I feel I should mention is the metric bolts that come with the unit to fasten the handles aren't the most durable. I broke one bolt on the lower part of the handle because they can't take a lot of extra man-made force. Easy fix was that I went to the hardware store and purchased four replacements that were steel, but these bolts aren't durable and I feel it's something Sunjoe's quality control should have caught and replaced a while ago. Also, not sure why the bolts are metric, that just seems odd to me, but whatever. Anyway, that's the reason for the 4 stars, otherwise, had the bolts been better quality it's a 5 star unit.

Love my ‘Joe

We got hit with a HUGE snow storm, plus we live in the country and the wind was really blowing the snow. A few of our driveway drifts were over 2-feet deep so I shoveled off half of the depth so Joe wouldn’t burn out but cleared the rest like a champ. Our driveway is 200-feet long plus a parking area for 4 to 6 cars. This is the third snow I’ve used ‘Joe’ for and feel comfortable with the pattern that works for our property and not running over the cord!
