Excellent Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product to assist with a flower garden I have built around a deck and paved parking lot. With this tool, I am able to do twice as much work in half the amount of time compared to what I was doing prior. It is perfect to help create the garden and to keep the surrounding area neat and clean. Highly recommend this product for anyone serious about outdoor gardening as it is is a great return on investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the concept of the Sun Joe 24V-X2-OGV 48-Volt iON+ Cordless Outdoor Garden Vacuum/Mulcher Kit, 850 CFM, 15:1 Mulch Ratio, W/ 2 X 4.0-Ah Batteries and Charger. It is a cute little machine that does a great job in removing the leaves and debris from my yard. It is very powerful and easy to use. It's nice to know I won't have to do all of the work by hand anymore. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small in size but big on suction power. Has a lot if great features for its size. There's a handle to to carry the bag when it's full and doubles for picking the whole machine up. There's also a chain on the bottom to keep static electricity away. The battery cover has a magnet to keep it closed. There is a platform under the bag to keep it in place when it gets full. The pick up of the grass and leaves is great. The only thing I can say bad is it's to small for my one acre lot. But this thing is a good product for small lawns.

Battery power walk behind vacuum mulcher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 1st walk behind portable battery power outdoor vacuum that I ever used. I like the convenience of battery power and the capability to use the vacuum directly into the debris without having to blow the dirt first.
Pros:
1. Equipped with 2 batteries totalling at 48V which gives you plenty of time @40 mins runtime. Charging time is close to 2 hours.
2. Excellent vacuuming power with ability to use turbo features to get an extra power when needed.
3. Large basket to collect all debris.
4. Excellent mulch performance. Turn small to large debris into dusty particles that can be pour out directly to flower bed to use as fertilizer.
Cons:
1. The front wheel has 2 height adjustment option but need to be manually adjusted by screwing and unscrewing the wheel. The ideal way is to have a locking mechanism for easy adjustment and preferably more adjustment stages.
2. The basket locked lever a bit stiff to push because only made of hard plastic. I have some concern on the longevity due to this issue. Perhaps using spring locking type would be much easier to handle.
3. Machine will briefly stop when detect a bump or when lift. This function makes vacuuming not ideal for eneven surface. Works better on hard surface such as concrete. Other reason not to use the vacuum over the lawn because of the plastic wheel wasn’t easy to navigate on the grass.

Pros and cons

Power switch is cumbersome to use. Front wheel tends to come off. Intake nozzle is not wide enough, can’t get close to curbs.
It does a great job of shredding leaves into fine mulch. As the season is ending it has seemed to loosesucking power. No way to tell if something is blocking chute to bag.

Vacuum worked great but one battery died.

Purchased this vacuum mulcher over the summer. Used it 3 times and it works very well. Unfortunately, one of the batteries will not charge above 12vdc even though it only has about 10 hours of run time. Not covered so would need to put base a new one at 65-70 dollars. No trust in batteries so will move on. Have other equipment with batteries years old and have never had to replace one. Cordless is only as good as the batteries. This on is retired and won’t be dealing with this company again.
