The 5418 is a great little entry level espresso machine. Get a bottomless portafilter and non-pressurized basket with an espresso puck screen and you'll never miss going to a coffeeshop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at how well this espresso machine works!! The espresso tastes great! It's very smooth and well made. The steam wand actually works very well too. You can even learn how to make latte art with it! It does have a good amount of customizations. It is SO easy to clean and all of the important parts come apart so you can clean them well. I have a very small kitchen and it fits very well. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves making coffee. I used to work at a coffee shop and now I feel like I have one in my home. It's a GREAT deal and totally worth the value!

I love how great my coffee tastes now. Casabrews CM5418 Compact does an excellent job at breaking it down so I can experience the rich flavors. I give four stars because I've had to buy shorter cups to fit under the nozzle. Also, it vibrates so much that sometimes my cup vibrates and moves too far to the side. Sometimes the vibration is more intense than others. I am hoping this is normal. It is definitely worth buying!

Little BIG espresso machine

I bought this product in Saphire Blue two months ago. I was skeptical at first, didn't know how if I was going to like it, since it was going to be in office and I share an office with two other people. First off, this little machine is a workhorse, best purchase I've made in a while. Everything about it is sturdy; the foamer is amazing I've used the Starbucks creamer and Oat creamer and both come out looking very frothy! I've made cappuccinos and espresso shots. Trying to find my magic numbers; so far I'm at 15grams of coffee to 25 seconds of water. I've used Arabica, Italian and French Roast, and currently testing Colombian roast.
Highly recommend this amazing little - BIG - espresso machine for anyone looking to enjoy an amazing treat in the morning or any time of day!

I was disappointed to see this product is made mostly of plastic. The Amazon Material Specs say the material is "brushed steel" and the Casabrew prouct Specifications ominously omit the Materials section. I should have been skeptical of that. Casabrews noted that all materials that come into contact with the coffee are stainless steel, it's just everything else that's plastic.
After purchasing the product I was offered money to post a video showing how much I loved it.
Clearly Casabrews gets 5 stars for their branding, and I have no doubt many of the reviewers truly do love their machine. But if you're a purist like me who is trying to remove plastic from your kitchen and are disillusioned with partial information on product Specifications, I hope this information is helpful to you.
