I love how small this machine is. I love the portafilter and how the filter sits in and doesn’t fall out into the trash with the puck. I love how quickly the machine heats up. The créma is perfect every time, even with bad beans. The steam wand does not spit water like other at home machines I have had: it steams. I have no complaints thus far. The instructions are clear for beginners or someone who has never tried espresso.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fantastic addition to my kitchen. For many years I only used a coffee maker or a french press for my coffee so this was my first espresso maker. After doing much research I settled on the CM5418 Espresso Maker. And I am so glad I purchased it. It has been so easy to make all my drinks. And the frother has been a great tool to use. Thanks Casabrews for a great product.

I bought this 4 months ago, and it’s been very effective! I bought a unpressurized basket to go with it and have been able to pull some great shots! It’s a great machine for beginners and it’s made me love espresso!

I was extremely surprised and amazed by this product. I bought this mainly for the ability to steam milk, and figured that because it was small and inexpensive, it would probably make mediocre espresso. I was wrong! It makes great espresso! Amazing espresso! Way better than many (much) more expensive machines I've used. I really am surprised at the quality of the espresso it produces, and the overall design, quality and functionality of the product. I also love that it doesn't take up much space on the counter, and looks great sitting out too. I really can't imagine anything they could have done better with the design of this machine. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Truly excellent product.

Doesn't Frothing milk

It does a Very good coffee, but doesn't Frothing milk. And I tried with ALL kinds of FAT milk with lactose. And is Very loud at the process.

Reheat from steam takes too long.

I am not impressed with the heating recovery after steam. I make a double shot steam the milk for foam and if I want to make another shot it takes 3 to 4 minutes to allow me to start another double shot. The instructions say 8 seconds. Maybe I am doing something wrong with this machine.

My first espresso machine, had great reviews so tried it for the affordable price. 1 week in and im loving it! Still testing my abilities with it but perfect small size, easy to use and figure out, and makes me happy! Loving my coffees way way more than any of my kcup or standard cups. Feels as great as a high end machine but im just a starter and keeps me from running to the coffee shops as much!
