I have never made my own expresso and was a little unsure of getting my own machine. My adult daughter loves creating coffee drinks and has worked as a barista so we spent quality time together while she taught me to use it. I caught on quickly; it's not as intimidating as it first seems. I like the ability to make my own drinks because most things taste overly sweet to me and this allows me to add just the amount of flavor and sweetener that I like. I still haven't mastered steaming the oat milk and I can't tap the coffee grounds out (I scrape them out with a plastic knife), but the machine is fun. I think it is worth the price even though I only use it once or twice a week. It doesn't take up much space on the counter which is another bonus for me.

Great budget espresso machine! Very impressed with the performance of this machine considering the low price. It’s easy to use, easy to learn on, and the pressure gauge is a nice touch to tell you if you prepped your coffee puck correctly.

Purchased this unit to replace a larger fully automatic machine which unfortunately was too big for my counter space. This Casabrew is small ,compact looks great on my counter, but more than that it makes a great tasting espresso ( short , double ) and also cappuccino. Highly recommended.

First time espresso machine owner! I was nervous about using it since I read all the comments about requiring a lot of tools and accessories to get a legit espresso set up. I'm happy to share that after purchasing the CM5418 I can produce high quality espresso without having to pay for one of those super expensive machines. It's super easy to use, clean, and set up.

Buy it! Your coffee shop ritual in your kitchen

This is the first espresso machine I have owned and I don’t think I’ve loved any other appliance more. My husband and I were spending so much on coffee shop visits multiple times a week. I got this as a Father’s Day gift for him and am blown away by 1) how easy it is to use, 2) how fun it is! it’s such a simple ritual we genuinely look forward to, and 3) that it’s super easy to clean, so much easier than a traditional coffee maker or cold press. After having this, I don’t know why the norm in the U.S. is to have a clunky coffee maker for a full pot, taking up space and being difficult to fully clean. This is the best, cleanest, yummiest coffee you can make at home hands down. At least for newbies like us. It’s so fast to make your latte (or whatever you’re making). We have a small kitchen and this takes up barely any counter space, and a huge plus that it’s a cute color and blends in well (we got the beige). Have not had a single issue with this machine. Such a thoughtful and well made design. Thank you Casa Brews for our daily oat milk lavender lattes!!
