It's a great machine. It does vibrate quite a bit which can get annoying when the cup moves while it's brewing the espresso. I like that the gauge tells you just how much pressure you're getting. I'm not sure I understand the steam wand it's different than other machines I've had it doesn't really foam the milk and make it double in size I think it just heats it.

We're loving our espresso machine and we've used it daily since we got it. We like the classic silver styling, it's been easy to operate, and we've made some delicious cappuccinos. Based on our reading, the steamer wand may not be the strongest, and it does take a few extra seconds to do its job, but it's been working well enough for us once we practiced a bit.

Terrible portafilter

The coffee machine works well and I happy with it but the portafilter is not good quality. After using it and washing it a few times, the aluminum went grey and started leaving black residue when I touched it. It became unusable and I had to throw it away. Really disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This has far exceeded expectations. My wife was skeptical and suggested it would become just one more kitchen gadget taking up counter space. Instead, it has earned a place of honor on the counter—front and center, occupying the primary electrical outlet. We use this little powerhouse to brew 2-6 espressos (lattes) a day. It’s probably paid for itself three times over in the few weeks we’ve had it.
