I bought 2 of the 6TB external drives. So far so good. I have them hooked up to my USB 3.0 ports. I can get around 85-120MB/s writing speed. I also like the design of the drives.

Absolute garbage. I'll be returning this expensive paper weight. I should have known to stick with Seagate.
