Bad connection issues and distorted sound when not

Overall is a decent experience, unfortunately they come with this humming sound as if they were having some kind of magnetic disruption when no music or sound is being playing, it’s plainly annoying. I was expecting better from Bose and this being my first purchase, it is very disappointing

I'm sorry to hear about the connection issues you've had. You can try various things here, e.g. clearing the pairing lists on both sides, or rebooting your smartphone. As for the humming sound when no music is playing, this may be normal, due to the "noise floor" present in most active electronics.

Great fit and sound

I have been struggling to find a pair of earbuds that fit my ears properly and also sound great. These delivered! I was able to make the adjustments using the various options provided to make a perfect fit and the sound is truly amazing. Great bass in particular thanks to the app's equalizer. I am very happy with this purchase.

Portable Powerhouses!

I received these QC Ultra earbuds as an upgrade for my QC earbuds II. These earbuds are absurdly out of this world good! They sound so good, that yes, depending on the song, it is almost like you could reach out and touch your favorite singer as though you were at a concert. Boses take on spacial audio really makes these the best earbuds I have heard thus far, and even better than the QC earbuds II. I have found that older music really shines, as does country, music with strong vocals, and even rap. Songs that have to be heard to be believed. 1. Driving My Life Away by Eddie Rabbit 2. Feel it Still by Portugal 3. Won't Feel the Same by Conor Maynard and Anth 5. Strangers by Kenya Grace 6. What Goes Around/Comes Around Justin Timberlake. There are loads other songs I could mention that sound fantastic, but I invite you to buy these earbuds, and get lost in the music. These earbuds do cost a bit, but it's a price worth paying if you really want the ultimate in noise cancelling and sound quality. Fit has also been revamped, and as such, i have yet to have these fall out, where the QC earbuds II would eventually start coming loose and fall out.

Stunning...

The Bose team has done it again! Just the noise canceling capability alone makes these worth every penny on your first flight. Then you hit "play" and are simply blown away. Solid bass (not just deep, but clean and powerful, never muddy), crystal clear highs, and "immersion mode" is simply stunning. Stop reading this review and just buy them!

Disappointment Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Earbuds

I will talk about the good first. They fit in the ear nicely. Feel comfortable compared to other ear buds.
Now the bad. When talking on my phone, the complaint from them has been they hear a distorted sound from any background noise around me. It can be from the wind outside, to sounds in my home, or while traveling in my vehicle. Have hung up and called back and it does not make a difference. When getting calls, my phone doesn't always recognize the ear buds. I have deleted them from my phone and reinstalled them to see if I can get it to recognize them, and sometimes it does, most times it does not. I called product support and several things were attempted, including deleting them from the phone and reinstalling them as well.

Wind noise may enter the microphone capsule and render other audio unintelligible. Also, if only using one earbud, make sure to use the right earbud. The right earbud is the "primary" or main earbud; it controls the left earbud by relaying audio from the source device. Bose Earbuds far superior to Apple AirPods

My rating is based on owning AirPods previous to the Bose Earbuds. Noise cancelling feature started hissing and crackling in less than 2 years of occasional use. Apple would not replace even though they had a recall on a certain batch. Fistly, you notice the comfort is far superior to the AirPods. Then as you start to listen to music there is a drastic difference in sound quality. I didn't expect that it would be that obvious but the richness of the sound is very good. Lastly the noise reduction feature is excellent. For example, I used them while on my tractor plowing snow. The sound of the tractor is dull and low while the music, set to mid range, is clear and predominate. Time will tell but first impression is outstanding.

Good for music, Not worth it for Phone

I both this about a mont ago and I AM UNHAPPY. Every time I use it to talk on the phone, people complain that they can't hear me well. I want to return the product.
