Great Upgrades!

Love the new upgrades! I’ve had two pairs of quietcomfort ear buds and one pair of headphones, absolutely love Bose quality & noise control for travel. Also a musician so the music quality is a must. Highly recommend!

True game changer! Ultra phenomenal!

Had high expectations when I got the Ultras since I already own the sport earbuds which I love to run with and take everywhere. A much sleeker design and profile right out of the box versus the sport buds which protruded from my ears. Initial setup using the Bose Audio app was quick. I went straight for the Immersive Audio experience and it was a game changer!! The sound quality is crisp, clear and I feel like I’m enveloped in the music! Although there are 2 Immersive options, I can see myself sticking with Motion which kinda felt like it was moving and adjusting as I was moving…if that makes sense. You have to try it to really understand.
Control features slightly changed from the sport buds but simpler (on/off requires just 1 tap vs 2). I accidentally turned it offand I can hit either bud w/ multiple taps to move tracks (whereas I could only hit the left on the buds). Maybe it’s just me and a byproduct of the noise cancelling feature but it seemed each tap of the earbud was amplified as a popping sound in my ear which was slightly noticeable.
Love the different preset modes to align with the mood and preference. I already created a custom mode for running so I’m able to adjust the noise cancellation level to my liking while being able to enjoy the immersive audio.
The longest I’ve used the Ultras in my ear was about 90 mins I’m one sitting without any discomfort. Noise cancelling feature works well to help drown out background noise while listening to tunes during work hours. I’ve even taken some work calls without any negative comments on disruptive background noise. I’ve taken rhe Ultras on 2 runs so far and the improved sound quality has made it a different experience so far. Just when I thought Bose was already at the top of their game, they surpassed it with these! Couldn’t be happier with them!

This is a game-changer!

The capability of choosing between the 3 different modes is incredible. In the Aware mode, I loved the fact that I can still be aware of my surroundings while listening to the music in the background without losing any of the music quality. This was particularly useful when being outdoors, running or just walking.
The Emergent Mode is by far the best audio mode. It makes the audio tracks so real and up-close and it provides the perfect and most-wholesome accoustic, especially when I'm cycling or running.
I'm overly impressed by the earbuds themselves. They are comfy, super light and small but yet noticeable enough to not get lost. They fit really nicely and snuggly in my ear and not tight at all. I don't feel they were weighing down on my ears even after a long time wearing them.
It just took me hours to figure the different touch controls on the earbuds. That was a bit challenging.
The phone calling audio and mic quality while taking calls is impressive and smooth.
The Bluetooth connectivity between my phone and the earbuds connects effortlessly unlike previous products, where I have had a bit more trouble connecting and had to go back and forth from the settings to fiddle with it.
Noticed a couple of times that the music would suddenly stop briefly but I'm not sure if this a streaming music or an issue with the Bluetooth connection.
Also, it would be nice to have the feature to locate the earbuds if I ever misplace them as this seems to be the case with me a lot of times :-)
I found it challenging at times to change tracks using the touch controls on the earbuds. Still getting used to these, and there is not good information about these either.

The quiet mode on these are way better than my AirPods. I am a runner and these stay in my ear with no problems. I love the aware mode. Overall great product

Very sensitive touch surface, SUPER sound!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these earbuds. I've wanted a pair for a while and am so glad to finally have them. The sound is amazing! My favorite is the new Immersion mode. I feel like I am actually floating on the music and that it's all around me. It's so "LIVE".
The Quiet mode is nice when you want to block out as much of everything besides what you're listening to. The Aware mode works great when you need to be....aware of your surroundings.

The case is very sleek and the buds are very futuristic looking. I would absolutely love it if they were slim enough to wear for sleeping (Sleep Buds where are you?), but active noise cancelling technology needs room. I do wish that the case was flat on the bottom so it could stand upright when the lid is opened. It's rounded on bottom instead. But that's just me.
I really like that I can wear one earbud (either one) and listen or talk. That's a great feature.
My only real "con" is that the touch surface is so very sensitive, that I routinely pause what's playing when just adjusting the earbud in my ear even when I'm very careful to just touch the sides of the bud. Also, because of the sensitivity, I had a hilarious (to me) non-stop toggle through the listening modes when receiving a hug from a friend. The earbud was touching her head. She couldn't hear it, but I did. It really was kind of funny. :)

Hey Guys! I actually got to use these headphones in a business trip to LAS VEGAS and let me tell you that they ROCK! The weather was much warmer than I’m used to and they were AMAZING, and when I say AMAZING I mean they held in my ear without any issues slipping off, yet very comfortable! Everyone knows how much noise a plane can make and if that’s an issue well BOSE found a solution with these QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. During the flight I popped these QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds in and I immediately felt the difference with the quality of sound that immersed me in each song, now mind you I am very versatile with music so there’s Reggaeton, Rap, Metal and of course some oldies and with that said the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds allowed each diverse range of sound to come through clearly and crisp so much so that it feels like you are at a listening party (very personal). Before the flight I charged the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and the flight was about five hours long and I was able to land and take a Uber from the airport to my destination and I still had charge left so I am impressed, now with that said I played two full games of Monopoly on my phone and no issues! Interesting feature is the ability to customize the music in a way that you feel, so that you feel immersed or immersed and aware so either sit back and zone out after a long day of work or get into your workout routine with the sounds that give you that pump while continuing to be aware of your surroundings! One Bose Quiver: This one does it all!

I’ve used these QC Ultra ear buds for 2 weeks for work, pleasure, and exercise. I finally got to use them in flight to test the NC function in the environment where I use NC headphones/earbuds the most.
Sound Quality: The QC Ultra are the best earbuds for sound quality and noise cancelling I’ve ever used and exceed the NC performance of my Bose 700 NC over the ear headphones. The Immersive Audio setting is amazing! With eyes closed you feel as if you’re in a concert hall!
Functionality: I travel a lot and have used Bose NC head phones for over a decade and never fly without them. These earbuds provide the same (actually better) noise cancelling in a much smaller product. I use ear buds for skiing, cycling, running and other exercise. These are extremely comfortable and remain securely in place even after sweating. Unless I intentionally tried to shake them off, they were rock stable. They are even small enough to wear under my ski helmet, and with the NC turned off and in aware mode, I look forward to enjoying tunes in Bose sound quality on the slopes. Based on use thus far, battery life will be sufficient for any domestic flight. Thus, now I can free up some space in my carry on bag by leaving the larger headphones at home and bring only the small earbuds, and still be ready for amazing sound when working out at the hotel fitness center. My only suggestion to Bose is they add an tether accessory that clips to both earbuds that can be worn around the neck to avoid dropping when removing from ear temporarily to listen to announcements during flight or talk with others.
