Awesome noise cancellation, amazing sound quality

As a long time Bose fan, they really hit the mark with the Ultra Earbuds. I am completely obsessed with them. I travel for work frequently and the noise cancellation is next level, for earbuds. It’s so convenient to not have to travel with over the ear headphones- and these get the job done. The sound quality is also amazing - I love the addition of immersive sound, really a game changer.

I expected exceptional quality from Bose, and listening to music with these QC Ultra Earbuds, with immersion technology, brought my experience to a whole new level. It is hard to describe how amazing the sound quality is, and it truly feels like sound is in front of me and all around me. I love wearing these to the gym because it blocks the surrounding noises, while giving me exceptional audio. I can even take a call and the sound is clear.
Also, the battery life is awesome. I had a full workout, came home, and the battery was still full! Don’t need to charge as frequently as other earbuds. Truly exceptional!

Great sound, great fit

I got these ultra ear buds a few weeks ago, and I've been thrilled with the sound quality. The tones are very clear and rich. The fit is excellent, especially since you can switch up and interchange the rims and the earpieces to fit your ears.
The noise cancellation is incredible. I can't hear my garage door close at all now, even standing next to it. I barely hear my lawnmower. Windy weather? No problem. Sometimes I don't hear my wife... gotta be careful with that! Honestly, I've never experienced nose cancellation this good, not even with my old Bose QC headphones. And it's not an uncomfortable feeling in your ears either. It feels amazingly normal and comfortable.
There's a feature where, when you first put them in after a charge, each bud will do a 'sound check' to adjust for the acoustics of your ear. Maybe that's too get the spatial sound set up just right. Spatial sound is really cool. You can close your eyes and feel like you're in a room with the musicians.
The case is beautiful, black with rounded edges. It lays down, but I wish it could also stand up. Also, as with a lot of these ear bud cases, it's easy to lose, so I wish it had a find-me feature with sound. It fits nicely in my pocket and is no trouble to carry around.
It was really easy to set up and configure and the controls it gives you are just right... not complex but not too limiting either.

Best Earbuds on the Market

I recently upgraded to the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds from the Bose QC Earbuds II and I want to share with you my experience.
My first real experience came on a cross country flight as I had to head out to the West Coast. While I was sitting at my gate, I had to take several work related calls. Even with all of normal commotion that is a Monday morning in an airport, the sound quality on the call was outstanding and the noise cancellation feature works just as advertised.
I hopped on the flight and put on some of my favorite songs. I switched the earbuds over to "Immersion" mode and was met with the big upgrade on these earbuds. I absolutely love the "Immersion" mode, especially when listening my favorite Country & Classic Rock songs.
I use these earbuds on my nightly runs and while I mow my yard on a zero turn mower. They fit easily in the ear and are very comfortable to wear. I've also never had to worry about them falling out while I'm moving around.
I absolutely love these new earbuds. Bose continues to distinguish themselves with the best products on the market and these new earbuds are no different. You will not be disappointed. I'm very glad I upgraded and you will be too.

Gorgeous sound quality and clarity!

I’ve had these for two weeks and put them to the test! I work on a 7,200 hp diesel engine towboat… which is to say my work environment is very, very loud! When I have these in immersive mode I can’t hear the engines AT ALL! Other earbuds never manage to cut out all the ambient noise. True to the Bose reputation the sound quality is superb. I listen to everything from classical music to rap and it all sounds amazing with these. They fit very comfortably and actually stay in my ears, even when I’m exercising outside and getting sweaty. The magnet holding them in is strong so I’m fumbled and dropped them while getting them out. But, at least that means they’re nice and secure. I absolutely love these ear buds!!

Unbelievably Awesome Earbuds

I had just purchased the Quiet Comfort Earbuds and they are great, but the I was asked to try the new Ultra earbuds. I didn’t think it could get any better, but wow did it. Perfect fit, didn’t slide out of my ears no matter how hard my head was moving and grooving to the music.
The sound was amazing, I loved being immersed in the music. The calls have been crystal clear and being able to only have one earbud in far a call is fantastic. And it doesn’t matter which one, which really helps when you have to take a quick c/m call but don’ want to miss part of the discussion .
Absolutely love Thea earbuds!

These are worth the investment

I own many pairs of earbuds. Bose wireless bluetooth in-ear SoundSport, Bose SoundSport Free Wireless, Bose wireless sport earbuds. I also own a pair of on-ear Bose headphones, and a pair of Bose over-the-ear headphones. Clearly, I am a fan of Bose products. But, I also own a pair of Powerbeats Pro True Wireless earphones and Apple Airpods. So, I have a lot of headphones by which to compare these QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. These are by far the best earbuds I have ever used. The technology of these earbuds surpasses anything I have owned. I used these with an Android device, multiple Apple devices, and my work-issued laptop. All connected well and maintained the connection with the earbuds. I really put these earbuds to the test.
I really liked the noise cancelling feature and the ability to change the modes. The noise cancelling feature is so good that I could not even hear my lawn mower when I cut the grass using these earbuds. The mode can be changed either through the app or via a shortcut on the earbuds. I used the app more than the earbuds simply out of personal preference, but both work well. If I have one complaint about the app it lies with the inability to change the mode via the app when I was on my work computer on a virtual meeting. I would not prefer to be tapping my earbud in that circumstance, but the app will only let you utilize its functionality when you are connected to the device owning the app. There should be a change in the interface.
The modes on the noise cancelling feature include quiet, aware, and immersion. Let me tell you, that immersion mode is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised how well podcasts sounded in immersion mode. It really feels like you are sitting in the room with the people on the podcast. Brilliant.
The immersive audio function allows for still or motion. Both immersive audio functions allow for an incredibly rich audio experience. They do exactly what you would think. When in still mode, the audio stays in place when you move your head. In motion the audio follows your movement.
As for battery life, I used the headphones constantly for a week and had to charge the case only once. Incredible battery life. I used these to workout, for work calls, for phone calls on my cell, to listen to my Android tv, for music, and for podcasts. The earbuds stayed in place well and did not hurt my ears. I did play around with the provided ear tips and ear bands to get the best fit, and I was able to make these earbuds fit my ears well. They are very comfortable to the point that I forget I am wearing them.
The case is small and fits in the palm of my hand, which is a plus considering the bulky cases of other earbuds I own, even Bose products. It also fits easily in my pocket or backpack. I very much appreciate the size of the case.
The bluetooth has great range. I could walk around my house and the range easily went from one side of my house to the other. I do wish there was the ability to find your earbuds if you happen to leave them in one room and walk away from them. There currently is no ability to ping them to try to find the earbuds if you set them down. I had no experience with one falling out of my ear, but I guess that is possible. I hope Bose adds this feature in a firmware update like my Bose SoundSport free.
If you are in the market for noise cancelling earbuds, these are well worth the investment. I am not an audio expert and do not claim to be. However, I know what I like, and I know when a product delivers for the average person. Yes, these are a little pricey, but if you plan on using these daily for work, play, and working out, you will find the investment worth it.

Bose is back at it again introducing new technology and pushing the boundaries of their best earbuds. The QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds come with multiple size eartips and bands for the earbuds and can perform an in-app seal test to ensure the perfect fit. I travel occasionally for work, so these earbuds are a must. Bose’s noise-canceling feature is amazing and can practically eliminate the airplane engine noise. I can listen to music, podcasts, or even watch a movie or show without hearing the loud drone of the engines. Bose went even further with the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and added a new, revolutionary feature called Immersive Audio. I love listening to live music, and listening to music in the motion mode of the Immersive Audio makes me feel like I am at a live concert. It adds depth and richness to the music that you experience with live music or surround sound. The still mode of the Immersive Audio is also impressive with the way the sound appears to come from in front of you, even as you turn your head from side to side. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are a staple of my daily life and are, without a doubt, the best earbuds on the market!
