I bought this recently. Still trying to figure it out. Says noise cancelling but callers on the other end complain that they here every thing in the background
After 2 months of using them almost every day (today: 12/12/23) :
Just to add a little bit of background I own many Bose products and I absolutely love them (QC25, Soundlink ll, Home Theatre, Sport Earbuds & more). I've never had a problem with any of my products.
I've been looking for the "perfect" earbuds over the years, read hundreds of reviews, tested many earbuds and I haven't found them yet. I thought these may be the ones but not yet.
Pro's: - The Active Noise Cancelling these bad boys have it's just world class. I haven't tried them on a plane yet, but for public places and trains the clarity you get it's amazing. - Sound quality is excellent. For a non audiophile like me it's just perfect. Going to walk/run at the park, workout, listen to music or watch streaming platforms works out not so well for the last one. - Case is sleek and IMO not to big for the amount of battery you get from it.
Con's: - Distortion sound when watching streaming platforms like Netflix or YouTube. It sounds as if the audio wanted to change from stereo to surround and back. It happens, a lot! I thought it was going to be fixed after I restarted the product for the thirds time, but yeah no. - Connectivity Issues: Out of nowhere the earbuds will disconnect and so I have to take them off, put them inside the case and put them back on again which is annoying considering I have the case with me. This has happened about 6 times so far. The other issue is when they disconnect and it won't link again until you reset the product. This happened one time and I had to reset the earbuds for 3 times and gave up. Tried few minutes later and it worked. - Touch controls: when you want to play/pause (1 tap) or skip a song (2 taps) it hurts a little bit when doing so because it's really hard to tap in a very gentle way. It doesn't hurt like Oh My God but it's quite annoying in my opinion.
An observation would be the lid of the case, it's magnetic and works just fine but since it doesn't have something to click on or to be solidly attached to the bottom of the case, it moves and can become faulty in the future, so I think.
So far my verdict would be to stay away, I can deal with the touch controls and maybe a disconnection now and then, but the distortion I get every time with the streaming platforms I can't keep them like this, it's just very annoying. I will ask for a return and try a new pair to see if my product was just faulty, stay tuned.

Hello Luis,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. I am glad to hear that you are satisfied with the design, world-class noise cancellation and audio quality they are offering.
And sorry you are still not fully satisfied with this product, because of some technical issues you are experiencing. You clearly tried some good troubleshooting steps here, such as putting the earbuds back in the case for a short time, and re-pairing them.
I would also try, if it’s not already done, to update the earbuds and case. You can find how to do this here: https://support.bose.com/s/display-articles?productId=01t8c00000QEpawAAD&articleId=ka08c000001boYUAAY&language=en_US
