So glad I upgraded!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The noise cancelling tech is wild. It really does block out all sound and immerse you jn whatever you’re playing. Very cool headphones. I thought i’d miss the connector cord of my previous Bose sound-sports, but these are fantastic!

Lemons into lemonade

Awesome noise cancelling and spatial qualities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] UNBELIEVABLE noise cancellation! I have 3 pairs of sound cancelling ear buds. These are, by far, the very best pair that I have. There are three levels of noise cancellation: quiet, aware and immersion. The immersion almost completely eliminates the environmental sounds that can get in the way of your music, or whatever you are listening to.
I used them on a flight recently, and had a crying baby behind me. The sound cancellation worked so well that I was completely absorbed in the movie. The baby did not faze me at all! And he was literally right behind me. My seat mate was having fits, having to hear this for a couple of hours.
The immersion setting is so good that I do NOT use it when walking on the street. I don't want to miss the sounds of sirens, moving cars or other potentially dangerous environmental factors that could ruin my day!
The spatial setting takes the studio sound and literally "moves" around with you. The movement of your head does not distort the fidelity or sound at all.
The sounds are crisp and clear, and would make any audiophile smile.
By far, these are the very best noise cancelling ear buds I have ever had!
I only wish the battery/charge could last 12 hours to see me through my longest overseas flights!

Waste of money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted these earbuds because My wife couldn't hear me during a telephone call. Being bose she predicted they would be of good quality, especially with the noise cancellation. The earbuds work great when you're listening to music or videos, but when it comes to the microphones during phone calls, these earbuds actually pick up more and amplify outside noise to the person you are talking to.
She can hear everything going on around me including the airplane traffic of the Southwest flight flying overhead, but she can't hear me.....

Hi Henry, thanks for leaving your review. It's great to hear you were impressed by the sound quality offered by the QC Ultra Earbuds, but I'm sorry to learn you had problems when placing calls. The microphones on the buds are unidirectional, so work best when pointing towards the source of the sound. Obviously, we want this to be our mouths, during calls, which is why it is recommended you wear them in a manner where the bottom of the buds point in that direction. Improper placement in the ear is the most common reason for external sounds to be picked up. Solid performer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently on my 2nd pair of earbuds, the first was gifted to my wife after my experience with them. Solid audio and noise canceling that's seen be through trips all over Europe. They fit well and are sleekly designed. My only criticism is that the black ones can become lost in my carryon bag. A bright or glowing case or wrap would be completely useful.

I’m very satisfied with the comfort compared to other earbuds as well as the sound quality. Regarding noise cancelation, I’m convinced these are the best in ear product you will find for reducing excessive outside noise.
