These are my 3rd set of Bose earbuds and, obviously I love them. My wife is on her 2nd set and she loves hers too. I've also have owned Bose over the ear headphones and loveed those too except for the bulk of packing them around.

It's been approximately 3 weeks since I've purchased the ultras, and I'm impressed with the sound. Now I'm no audiophile but they sounds great to me.
My complaints are as follows, In my opinion the app is only good for the equalizer, and for such an expensive kit, there is no "Find my buds" function.
Have to compare to Apple' buds. Apple' version have more standard features that actually work, like find my buds, auto mute for conversations , sound great, and wireless charging that you dont have to spend another $80 for. Leaving out the wireless charging function to make an extra buck doesn't sit well with me.
I'm just saying that they cost more than Apple' version so you would think coming from Bose, that they would be superior in every way.

I am a huge Bose fan - I just prefer their sound to all others. I've owned the Bose Soundsport Free earbuds for years now. I love the sound, and they stay in my ears. However, and this is me, I always felt they would fall out (they really don't!). I asked for the Bose QC Ultra earbuds though for a gift because I was very intrigued by the immersion sound. I absolutely love them! The sound is incredible, especially on immersion. The noise canceling (which I didn't really need) works fantastic- as well as the ANC on my Bose QC45 headphones. I never expected that! The fit is very comfortable. The buttons are responsive and easy to use. My favorite feature may be though that they pause the sound if you pull one earbud out. I have a habit of pulling one out when someone tries to talk to me because the button on the Soundsport was always finicky for me, but then I still had noise in one ear. It's really a game changer for me. I think I've made everyone in my house listen on the QC Ultra, the sound is that good. I find I wear them far more often than before, which used to be just one daily walks. Now, I have them on in the house, for meditations, etc.
