Even after updating the firmware. My Bose earbuds keep disconnecting from my phone even close by. Very poor connectivity

This is our 4th pair between my wife and I. We had the sports for at least 10yrs we upgraded and haven't looked back we live the QC buds

Phone volume sound

I received this item as a replacement for an older version that I returned. I'm pleased that I received an upgrade. However, the sound volume for phone calls is very low, at it's highest setting.
