Amazing set of QC Earbuds that fit my ears!

Over all the new QC Ultra earbuds are a great addition to the QC family.
Pros:
The customizable ear tip and band system. Amazing!
Soft grip case for no slip handling.
Decent battery life.
Sound it's a Bose product.

I am going to stress how the new QC Ultra earbuds fit in my review. All the other aspects of these earbuds reflect Bose continuing quality: in sound production, fit and finish, features such as noise cancelation and Immersive audio. One note, I did notice a small amount of background hiss when noise cancelling was enabled and no audio was playing. Very minor but noticeable and did not affect audio playback. Only other detractor was multi device pairing. To switch between devices such as an iPhone and iPad, you must take multiple steps of disconnecting from one device an connecting to the other. Annoying but manageable.
Now for the true wonder of these earbuds! (at least for me). I have unusually shaped ear canals and rather large ears in general. I have spent years and hundreds of dollars attempting to find a pair of earbuds that fit my ears. The standard t-shirt sizing of ear tips never really worked. Earbuds with ear tip hooks or other mechanisms ended up at best not working or at worst being painful. I have found perfection in the QC Ultra earbud. Being able to separately customize the size of the ear tips and the bands that help retain the earbuds is a GAME CHANGER. After a few sizing tests I was able to find the perfect combination of tips and bands that felt comfortable, game me good earbud retention and produced the correct seal to allow noise cancellation to function. Thank you Bose for your continued innovation! My quest for proper fitting earbuds is OVER!

SHEER PERFECTION! An auditory masterpiece!

Don’t even consider any other earbuds! Bose has generously fixed every issue we had with this new QuietComfort Ultra release! The biggest issue I had was on the older earbuds was the left earbuds was useless unless you were using both at the same time. That is a thing of the past!! I am thrilled you can use one earbud without the other - your pick either the right or the left! I use these a lot to talk on the phone and don’t care to use both earbuds for this type of use. Now you can use one of them and swap to the other when the one you’re using runs out of battery! Just put the one you were using back in the case and pull the other freshly charged earbud from the charging case and voila - just keep chatting! Love love LOVE this feature!! Now using both are the same time is incredible for listening to music!! The hair will stand up and the tingles will commence if you do this listening to some 8d music on Spotify!! The sound is so perfect!! I have never been so pleased with a product right out of the box! The voices are all clear when chatting (people I’m talking to actually told me I sound clearer than I ever have when using these) Win-Win!
The case on these is just slightly wider than their predecessor, which makes it easier to get them in and out of the case! Not a necessary improvement, but appreciated nonetheless! I have long fingernails (most of the time) and this makes it so much easier for me to use. OH, another thing the colors available are so nice! I have never had a white earbud set, or headphones fit that matter, but this white color is so pretty!! I keep trying to think of one single “con” to go with my “pros” but there simply is not one!! I have every set of earbuds Bose has ever made, and while I like each of them for different reasons, I always had one or two things I wished were different - not anymore!! These are the holy grail of earbuds! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself (and your ears) a favor and get these! I’m buying a couple for my friends for Christmas because they are THAT great! I wish I could give them more than 5 STARS because they are WORTH it!
I never ever have much to say when I review products, because there usually isn’t much to say, but these earbuds are a game changer!! The battery life is awesome, the charging case is perfect, the sound is amazing and the color choices are a beautiful perk!
Bose you have done it! You have made the perfect earbuds and I wish I could say more than thank you, because it just doesn’t seem like it’s enough! I never go anywhere without these! Everyone buy these now and thank me later! You will be as impressed with the sound and wowed by every tiny detail of these QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds! You HAVE to treat yourself!

I’ll start by saying I own several pair of BOSE earbuds. I have the BOSESports and the original QuietComfort. I honestly didn’t think it could get any better than what I have already experienced with those. However , leave it to BOSE to say “…Hold my beer”, lol!
These new QuietComfort Ultra earbuds have really blown me away. To start with , they are extremely comfortable. It was a perfect fit right out the box, which never happens . I usually have to fiddle with different ear tips and placement. But these earbuds are lightweight , durable and almost feel as if you aren’t wearing any earbuds at all. They do all this while still feeling safe , secure and snug in my ear . They are perfect for casually relaxing listening to music or working out. I tried them doing both and they’re not going anywhere !
The next thing that really floored me about the QuietComfort Ultra’s is the Immersive Audio Experience. And yes , I said “experience “ because thats exactly what it is! There are 2 modes to choose from on the Bose App.
( besides the normal “Stereo” mode).
The first is “Still”. “Still” is a premium spatial audio experience that “stays in place” . What that means is anytime you turn your head left or right … the Immersive Audio will recalibrate to keep the music in the center of your listening field. It’s so cool! You can literally hear the music adjust as you move your head. It’s one of the features you didn’t know you needed …until you have it !
Now , to kick it up a notch there’s spatial “Motion “ mode. Here’s a warning about “Motion “ mode though . Don’t use it unless you want to feel like you’re actually IN the recording session with your favorite artist , lol!
Seriously , as you move …the music moves with you. It comes from every direction …behind you , in front of you , from the left , from the right. It’s wild , in an awesome BOSE kind of way.
I seriously had to stop for a second and think “ Is this music coming from my earbuds or is one of my neighbors having a jam session ?!” It’s just that immersive!
As a recording artist myself , I really appreciate BOSE. There are so many elements that go into creating a song. There are tons of ad libs, vocal arrangements , background vocals and instruments you may never even pay attention to.
What the Immersive Audio does is take all those hidden elements and brings them to the forefront. This means you can really hear the music as the artist intended. As an artist and music lover , it doesn’t get any better than that!
I have listened to songs I’ve heard for years while wearing the QuietComfort Ultras and have heard new elements in the song I never noticed before.
It’s like hearing your favorite songs all over for the first time. No one can bring that feeling to you better than BOSE.
The only con I noticed is that the touch controls are a little sensitive. I would be in the middle of vibing out and may adjust the earbud a bit in my ear …and it would skip to the next song. But that’s not a deal breaker at all …because the next song sounded as good as the previous! Just an fyi to be aware of.
Overall , the new BOSE QuietComfort Ultra’s with Immersive Audio impressed the heck out of me and will definitely take your listening experience to a whole new level!

Major improvement. Amazing immersive audio

I have had the pleasure of using these headphones for about a week now and let just say that they are AMAZING! The arrive just in time for my cross-country road trip and they performed a lot better than expected. I own the QC Earbud (2020) and I like them, but the QC earbud Ultra blow them out of the water. The noise cancelling has been majorly improved, comfort (with the ability to charge ear tips and wings independently) has increased, overall loudness (without distortion) and the immersive audio experience was amazing. While watching a movie on my iPad, I really enjoyed how the sound followed the screen and kept up while moving my head around. Even the design and color are amazing. The one drawback that I have is that I was not able to use wireless charging which is a bummer since the 2020 version has that feature. Overall, major improvement and excellent product.
P.S these are great for students who need to cancel out noise while studying. I was in a cafeteria doing work and could not hear thing.

Superior earbuds!

Wow!! I have been using the earbuds for a few weeks now and can’t wait to use them each day. I have had several brands of earbuds and these are the best yet. The spatial audio with the immersive setting sounds great like a concert right in front of you. Phone calls are crystal clear with no audio cut out. The bass is plentiful and the eq setting in the app lets you adjust the sound to your exact liking. They stay in your ear very well and the noise cancellation is great, I use them when I mow the lawn or ride in my utility vehicle at work and they block all excess noise. I would not hesitate to purchase these!

Most comfortable sound immersive experience

I have years experience with varying styles of headphones and earbuds but these by far have landed favorably to my everyday needs. I have used them in the gym, doing yard work while using power equipment, while working in the garage either doing woodcraft work or repairs, while playing my favorite musical instruments (drums and piano), and during general chores around the house. The noise dampening effect has replaced the need for hearing protection in loud environments. They are extremely comfortable and at times so comfortable that I have forgotten they were there. I own the previous version of Bose QC earbuds, the difference between the two is although the QC earbuds are also comfortable and have similar features these fit so much more securely. The one area that have not experienced up to this point is the ability to connect to multiple mobile devices at the same time. I have had success with my QC earbuds in performing that function.

Truly noise canceling!

When I received these, I was in a hurry to try them out. I was BLOWN AWAY with how they really meant it when they said noise canceling. The moment you insert these buds in, it makes everything around you quieter with and without music. The sound is so crisp & listening to music in these is such a superb experience. I used it for jogging as well and the buds stayed in place. I couldn't even hear the passing cars beside me. The ability to use the pause/play, skip/repeat, & volume controls on both earbuds is a huge plus! Only small con I have is that the buds can be a little sensitive when you slightly adjust them. Meaning you might accidentally pause your music when you touch/adjust them. But that's a minor inconvenience I'm okay with compared to the pros.

These buds rock!

Love, love love these earbuds! They arrived quickly and were ready to go out of the box. As soon as I opened the case, I was immediately prompted to connect to my phone. A few seconds later I was in business. It was that simple. They also easily connected to my laptop and iPad. The only drawback is they connect to just 1 device at a time. It’s a small thing but would be nice to connect to phone and laptop or iPad at the same time. It has been easy to switch between devices though.
I normally do not like headphones in my ears but these are so comfortable I forget I have them in. Before these I used AirPods but never really liked them as they hurt my ears and would fall out during workouts. The Bose QuietComfort earbuds are so comfortable and are secure during workouts.
The sound is incredible. I particularly love the immersive mode. The sound seems like it’s coming from everywhere around you at once. I’ve never had this sound experience with earbuds. This coupled with the noise cancellation is awesome. You can really drown out your surroundings to focus much more. I can’t always use them at the office as I’m on the phone quite a bit, but when I can they really help me focus as all background noise is masked. At the gym, it allows me to focus on my workout and really feel like I’m the only one there. The one thing I found, though is that when I do some exercises (French press, I’m looking at you) the motion of my arms past my buds can trigger the buds to turn off. Doesn’t happen a lot but when the time or two it did, I was doing exercise where I was continually lifting my arms past my earbuds. Again, not a dealer breaker…it’s just slightly annoying.
Overall, these are great earbuds. Another Hugh quality Bose product.
