Love these Bose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great earbuds. I use them every day at work. Each bud usually lasts about 3 1/2 hrs, but give audible warnings when they get low (about 15%). Even when buds were wired, I tend to use those over the headphones because I don't like the way it feels on my head. The music quality is top notch. Switching between modes while listening to music is most noticeable. I mainly listen to audio books & don't notice it so much except if I put it in immersive since it sounds like an echo. Be prepared to feel a suction when calls come in. I'm getting used to it, but still strange to me, but the release (when a call ends) is worse. When a call comes through I think the noise cancellation kicks in. When the buds fit right it, there's a suction feeling in your ear. The biggest problem I have is getting the fit right. My right ear is perfect & creates an excellent seal, but the left ear-I cannot get to fit right or seal to save myself. It's like this with many earbuds however, so I can't blame Bose for it. They do give several pieces to find the best fit.
My ear will get sweaty while wearing the buds so I do take them out to give my ear a slight break & to "breathe". Other than that, I keep them in & tend to forget it's in my ear. Bose wants you to download the app to use the buds (I don't like, but everyone's doing it now). I connected them before somehow without the app, but the functionality & connection wasn't that great. The buds kept dropping. Another issue I have is that Bose does not allow you to know the status of the case. Maybe I missed something somewhere, but I only know when the case needs to be charged when the light is orange. The app or Bluetooth on the phone doesn't tell the battery level. My Google buds show the case & each buds' battery level within the app & the buds' level through the phones Bluetooth. Overall, when listening to music, these buds are excellent & will provide a phenomenal experience.

Another great product from Bose. I love the noise cancelling feature. I've even pushed the feature to it's very limits in an industrial setting. It's more than capable of performing for normal use. I also like the level of customization to noise cancelling. The immersion feature really gives a depth of sound. The only negative I could give the buds themselves is the battery life. It seems like after several versions, maybe they could have extended beyond 6 hours. Still, not a deal breaker. Wouldn't have hurt to have wireless charging for the case either. But I'm still satisfied with the product.

The absolute worst

The absolute worst earbuds I've ever had, quiet comfort 1 was way better than these, rightnow it's making noises in the left earbud, if u take 2 steps, if u breathe, it automatically starts playin YouTube music even tho u don't want it to do so, they're not supposed to connect to ur phone when it's in the case, but these do...I will never suggest these earbuds to my worst enemies, that's how bad they are, and these problems I speak on is frequent.

Poor call experience, random disconnect.

I had the first version of qc earbuds, and they were great. One misfortunate drop later, I replaced them with the current version of earbuds. They are great for noise cancelling. But talking on the phone is horrendous. They pick up every little background noise, making talking on the phone a horrible experience for the person on the other end. I have had to take them out and speak directly on the phone more often than not, which is very dissappointing since that is their primary function for me.
Also, whether you want it to play or not whatever program you had up last will autoplay when you insert them in your ear. Even if you close out the program, it will still play when you remove and place them back in your ear. I've looked for the setting extensively to change this.
Recently, they've begun to disconnect while on a call, making me scramble for my phone to lessen the interruption.
Overall, I'm quite disapppinted with software and technical issues.

It's great to hear you were impressed with the noise cancellation feature, but I'm sorry calls appeared to be problematic. poor mic pickup of your voice,and surroundings being fed into the call can be attributed to improper positioning in the ear. I'd encourage you to take a look at our fit guide (https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/support/articles/HC2656/productCodes/QCUE-HEADPHONEIN/article.html) to learn the best placement. This is important because the microphones need to be pointed towards you mouth for the best pickup.

I can confirm the buds feature in-ear detection, so the buds will automatically resume what was previously playing, but this can be disabled in the Bose app's settings. With disconnection issues, you may have a corrupted pairing. I'd suggest factory resetting (https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/support/articles/HC2563/productCodes/QCUE-HEADPHONEIN/article.html#:~:text=With%20the%20case%20open%20and,Release%20the%20button.) the buds, then establish a new connection. This should prevent any disconnection issues.

These are the best earbuds I have owned. The fit is perfect, and the audio is second to none. It is difficult to imagine how a product can be improved, but Bose has done it yet again.
