I Do Not Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so disappointed. Never thought a product with the Bose name would work so poorly. The sound quality when talking on phone is very poor- I can barely hear the person to whom I’m speaking and they have difficulty hearing me as well. There is also additional feedback people on other end of the line complain about as well. These work worse than cheaper brands I’ve had in the past. I definitely do NOT recommend this product.

The noise-canceling feature is particularly remarkable, surpassing any previous headphones I have utilized. Additionally, the device possesses the unique capability of seamlessly connecting to two devices concurrently, which I find highly convenient. I maintain a simultaneous connection between my earbud and both my iPad and phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were given to me as a gift, as I specifically requested the Bose brand. I could not be more disappointed. When I use them to talk on the phone with others, I can barely hear the other party, and the other party can barely hear me. The other party also complains about background noise. They are fine for playing music, but I find that I cannot use them to talk on the phone. I also find it difficult to command and control the headset by touching the earpieces. Sometimes tapping them works, and sometimes it does not control them at all. Overall, I have not had a good experience with this headset and I do not recommend them.

Hello, thanks for taking the time to leave your thoughts of the QC Ultra Earbuds. You mentioned difficulties with taking calls on the buds, experiencing difficulties hearing the caller, and the caller complaining of background noise. With call volume, this may be separate to the volume of your music on your smartphone, so I suggest checking the call volume has been increased. On an Android phone, for example, when tapping the volume button on the phone, there should be three dots on the volume slider. Tapping this will reveal multiple volume sliders you may have a separate slider for call volume.

Perplexed this is the case

I've had these for over a year & the form factor, comfort of fit & noise canceling features are wonderful. The 1 issue I have is whenever I use it for phone calls, the other person hears so much background noise that I have to discontinue using the earbuds.

If the person you're talking to on calls hears a lot of background noise, try moving to a quieter environment. Also make sure your earbuds are oriented correctly for the best mic performance, i.e. with the Bose logo pointed towards your mouth or chin.
