Comfortable but volume level too low

I bought them and returned within the day. The volume did not reach a level that I felt was acceptable.

Awesome sound! Great noise cancelling earbuds!

Same quality Bose sound; smaller, compact delivery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a pair of the QuietComfort Ultra a year ago. Same quality as the previous model but in a different shape/style and I absolutely loved them. The QuietComfort Ultra came on sale again, this time in a different color that I had before (have black and the sandstone colors) so I decided to take the plunge. The sound is unreal; just have to make sure I have the tips correct so they can charge in the case when finished; not enough of a concern to drop my rating from 5-star to 4-star. Otherwise these are perfect.
