The best earbud out there. It doesn't hurt my ears and fits comfortably. Very quiet and noise canceling.

Not good for sleeping

Amazing sound quality, but the noise threshold is way too high. I have tinnitus in one ear and I sleep like a rabbit, any noise wakes me up. I cannot sleep without earbuds or earplugs on.
Pro:
-Amazing sound quality, way better than other earbuds I have tested
- The ANC is way better than I expected. Does not make me dizzy from pressure and when traveling by airplane it sounds like someone's taking a shower in the next room, it's unreal how good this is.
- Is the first pair of earbuds which has a decent microphone for voice calls.
- They fit very well and are extremely comfortable.

Cons:
-They disconnect sometimes out of the blue.
-Somehow there is no PNC mode. You can bland between ANC and transparent hearing, but you cannot turn these off.
- The noise threshold is unbearable. On low volume content the hissing is so loud that you cannot sleep with these on or make "critical" listening.
-The lack of PNC means that you cannot wear these as "earplugs", at a concert for example, and very loud noises can be amplified by the ANC and will hurt you ears.

(I have tried sennheiser mtw2 and 3 and Sony's weird long name and Linkbuds S)
These earpods are good for an active, city life. Amazing for commute but not so at home.

My Relax Tool

I love these airbud and use daily. My biggest issue is I wash them and kill in one swift stroke. I am on my sixth pair and still cannot give them up. In city, on plane, trying to sleep.

Poor Quality

The sound quality is good but microphone is terrible when connected to laptop. Also microphone is providing less quality in conparison with the earlier QuietComfort earbuds.

Excellent sound, super sensitive touch control.

I went through several noise canceling earbuds this year... most of them did not achieve a good seal and thus there was loss in performance. With the Bose QC Ultra - changing to their Large earbud + support fin - provided excellent seal as reported by the Bose app. The sound quality and level of ANC is exceptional.
I took off one star because the touch surface on each earbud is pressure sensitive and not capacitive - if you wear them to bed, the slightest pressure registers as a command. My other favorite pair of earbuds does not register pressure unless it is applied using a finger - e.g. a pillow will not trigger. This allows me to fall asleep wearing them. I can't do that with My QC Ultras.
