I purchased this tool after watching YouTube videos and getting recommendations from friends in order to work on a Pinewood Derby car kit. The variety of tools and uses was a great help in getting the job done!

Best Dremel to Date!

I put off for some time buying this as my old Dremel just kept humming along. Now that I have it, I wish I had bought it sooner. I particularly like it's ability to maintain the set speed. Great unit!

it's a great tool but easly to over work

had the same model it was very easy to use and work hard for what I did with it but I was cutting plastic and got it to warm and it quit working (my fault) I liked it so well I did purchased the same model don't want to be without!

My old rotary tool was on it's last leg, so it was time to get something new. This product fit the bill just perfectly! I mainly use it to cut, shape, grind and polish very small pieces of stainless steel and aluminum. With the 4000, I can make these parts look like a mirror.

Dremel 4000 is a winner

Three of the best features are - the quick release chuck so you do not have to use the wrench changing accessories, the ability to keep rpm constant when working and the increase in power. I also like the quality and smoothness of the tool. It is bigger than my previous Dremel, however once I used it for a while it was no big deal. Small price to pay for the new features. The versatility of this tool can not be underestimated.

This dremel was a gift. I had an older dremel that finally gave up, so I was given this one. The dremel 4000 is by far the greatest product that money can buy. It does everything that dremel. claims it can do and more. It is great for small jobs and some big ones as well. I have always been partial to dremel brand products, but after having this one. I am sold for life. Keep up the great work dremel.

I've used my old dremel tool for over a decade, often doing tasks above and beyond it's rating (like sharpening a mower blade) These are a durable tool and will provide many years of reliable performance.
