Crappy battery latches

Where should I begin 2 issues
1 your battery latches are too strong. It takes the strength of Hercules to remove the battery from the tool. Here is a suggestion take older people into consideration when designing your tools.
2 every time I use it I have to bang the tool on the bench or floor to allow the shaft lock to work. I don't know what your problems are but Dremel must have gone downhill from when I bought them years ago.

Cheaply made and poor service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The collar on the tool stripped right out of the box due to the use of cheap plastic. When I contacted customer service they wanted me to jump through hoops to get a replacement piece. Bottom line it sits unusable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken right out of the gate

Charged her up, turned her on. She ran fine through all the speeds. Switched her off then tried turning her back on, nothing... Lights were still on but nobody was home. I had to remove the battery to reset. Tried again several times and same results. Obviously nobody checked this unit before sending her out the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Cordless Tool

Dremel 8250 is a very convenient tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been doing fine scale modeling for 25 years with the help of a Dremel 395 (which still works fine). Just added the 8250 for the brushless motor and cordless operation.
