[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool a year and a half ago and I love it it's easy to maneuver great for detail work has tons of attachments not only that but you have the options to control the speed and velocity as well as it also has a comfortable grip and also has a rubber lining that helps with gripping and won't skip out your hands easy all around awesome and great tool I use mine everyday and it still going strong

It’s a beast

I just acquired the Dremel 8250, cordless,brushless-and I’m adding ‘limitless’! I’ve had some ups and downs with Dremel- I’ll add the customer support experience has always been phenomenal- but this current tool, this one’s a monster. The way the tool is designed and its weight alone are uncomparable to anything else on the market. The power is equal to anything ‘corded’ and the LED display is bright, easy to read, even its ‘blue’ color is easy on the eyes. Can’t /Don’t have one bad thing to say about it- or the company in that regard. Couldn’t be more satisfied. I’m not REAL clingy with my tools: if you need a hammer, I can loan you one-a chainsaw?- I got you!- but don’t ask to borrow my 8250- it ain’t happening, she’s my baby.

Didn't last long

I have owned many dremel products, some more functional than others, but never have I had one fail so irrevocably so quickly. I bought this about 10 months ago and was immediately disappointed in how large and unwieldy the tool was. However, I gave it a shot and soon became mostly accustomed to it. It did seem to have a tendency to skip and chatter more and was more difficult to control. Then a few days ago it spun out and lit up red. I quickly turned it off and charged the battery while I cleaned it thoroughly and blew compressed air through it. When I went to use it today, it was stuck - dead. I took it apart to find that the magnet inside the motor is in pieces and there's metal dust all over it. (I have not been grinding metal, I've been working with wood). This is not a part that is available for purchase that I can find. Yay.
