[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the 8250 last week, and I am pleasantly impressed. I like the shape of the rotary tool, it fits nicely into my hand and its rubbery surfaces where my fingers hold the tool allows me comfort but most importantly a tight hold. I've been making curved metal shelves that required welded connection pieces, so I used the cutoff disk supplied with the 8250 to remove excess weld material. I was able to use this tool for about an hour cutting the welds and the battery power was still available. That's super. I didn't think that the small 12 volt battery was that powerful. After charging the battery for about an hour, I went outside and put new bolts in my wheel barrel. The bolts were tool long so I decided to use the 8250 to cut the excess screw material off the bolts. Again, I was impressed that this tool had the power to cut through a 5/16" diam steel bolt. I ran through a few of the cutoff disks doing this, but the 8250 just kept on cutting. I like that the motor in this rotary tool is brushless, as I am sure that this helps to reduce the amount of power absorbed by the tool. I am finding a lot more porjects where this tool will be used in the future. I really like the nice cloth case that holds this tool, the battery, the charger and the accessory kit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really awesome tool that everyone should have. There are so many things you can do with a dremel especially a cordless one! This tool feels and looks well made and comes with everything you need to get started. Easy to find whatever additional attachments and tools you need at just about any hardware store. I would definitely recommend.

The 8250 feel's very well built and the kit comes with all kinds of useful attachments. I really like the fact that this is cordless and that it feel very comfortable in your hand. I would recommend this product to anyone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying this dremel! It is super lightweight and easy to handle. The grip is just perfect and does not feel too bulky! It super convenient for small projects. The battery lasts for a very long time and shows on the digital display. The digital display also shows the speed! It is not loud at all which is nice compared to other rotary tools. It has great precision and leaves a very smooth finish! Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am blown away by the power this small tool has. My dad has even taken a liking to it so much that I will be grabbing one for him for fathers day! I cannot wait to see what the next little project I can use this for, so many options!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Dremel and was needing another. This is a great product, just like it always has been. Battery charger is quick and it lasts for a good while. Very easy to use and much easier without a cord holding you back.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dremel 8250 is by far the most powerful Dremel I own. I have used this with standard polishing and sanding bits and also used it to trim laminate flooring. I like the portability of the tool it definitely is handy having a carrying case to keep the tool and charger as well as some attachments or bits that I use on a regular basis. It has variable speed motor with turn dial, which I find to be useful except it is real sensitive so if you dont watch it you could have it on full throttle, and you will mess up what you are doing. That being said I think it could be a little slimmer but the snake attachment works well w it so I cant complain too much. I really like the amount of time you can use it with only one charge. I have done at least 3 hours worth of continuious work and it still has a charge. I did find out there is a warning indicator when you put it in a bind or too much strain on the tool it will shut down and show a triangle with a (!)in side of it and I had it on lowest speed when this happened. But i turned up speed and it cut right through the plank no problem. It is quiet yet on hi it could get a little annoying if your not trying to be loud. I would 100% recommend this dremel model to anyone who uses them for hobbies or work on flooring or trim work. I will post some pictures to show my set up for anyone who may be curious on what I use to do the flooring.
