[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many different corded Dremel products over the years, and most of them are still in use. They have always been dependable and well-made tools. Recently, I decided to add a cordless Dremel tool to my arsenal, and purchased the 8250, based on its specifications and long battery life. I was not disappointed! The Dremel 8250 performs as well, if not better than my corded Dremel tools. I am able to use it in locations where a corded tool is not convenient. Many times, cordless tools are under-powered and can only be used for small tasks. The 8250, however is a serious tool that has the strength and power to get the job done. Its brushless motor has a lot of torque and will not bog down when used correctly with the proper attachments and according to the instructions provided. I highly recommend this tool and am considering purchasing an additional one to keep in my car! I would like to purchase an additional battery or two so that I can use it continuously.
