[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tool. It’s fast convenient. Battery lasts a good amount of time. And I needed warranty service and they were awesome. I had it back quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the cordless is not horribly big but certainly bigger than the corded. Easy to use and balanced, just love the idea being able to grab and go...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use in my engineering design class at palm desert high school, and now have requested an additional 10, it is ideal for the multiple uses we have here on projects.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this to replace a Dremel 300 tool. This has all the features advertised. The new Dremel has a great speed control that outperforms the old 300. Always useful for cutting in awkward areas and for small items.. I still have a working Dremel in a wood case from the 50's The 300 is also back to functioning. Just don't tell my wife.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my corded Dremel for a while now, but a project I'm working on would probably go a lot quicker & smoother if I got a cordless Dremel. I looked at all the other rotary tools out there, and after checking specifications, features, weight, price, power, included accessories, and quality, I stuck with the original, Dremel, and got an 8250. I didn't need Bluetooth, but my experience with cordless tools informs me that brushless motors really are superior, so I got the 8250. It weighs less than its competitors, has more power, a bigger battery, and comes with a case, a must-have accessory for me. Those are some of the superior characteristics I could glean from reading the model and looking at tool reviews. What I didn't expect was how much better than my corded Dremel the 8250 is. It is worlds apart, and better in every way. It is very quiet, MUCH quieter than my corded Dremel. It is also smoother operating, with NONE of the vibration of my corded Dremel. It has more power, more features, and the quality of the tool is at least 2X or 3X better as well! It doesn't have the hard-case I love so much that my corded model has, but given the substantial superiority of this tool I'm not sure how any other tool can compete with the 8250. I bought the tool just based on the features & specifications I could read about, but I sure am happy I got the 8250 and not some other brand. It is a much better tool than I imagined it would be.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Dremel products for over 30 years and when the cordless models were introduced I was floored. Not because they simply had a battery but because they had a battery and they were just as powerful if not more powerful than the corded models. I work on cars a lot and am rarely near an electrical outlet when I need to clean, polish, debur or cut something, and not having to run a long extension cord makes all the difference, because I’m in an out in mere minutes instead of 20-30 minutes or more. I have 6 of the cordless models and keep them in strategic locations for knocking out jobs very quickly.
