My Galaxy Buds3 lasted me about three months when one of my buds stopped working, so I had to send them to Samsung for repair, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. My other issue is that I have a difficult time keeping them in my ears and I need it to be able to a bit louder.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Galaxy Buds3, Keith! We truly appreciate your feedback, especially regarding the friendly support you received during the repair process. We hope you’ve received your earbuds back or will be getting them soon. Regarding your fit concerns, since the Galaxy Buds3 are open-type rather than canal-type, it can require some adjustment to find the right fit. We recommend checking the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks—R for right and L for left. When placing them in your ears, make sure the R bud is facing you in your right ear and the L bud is positioned similarly in your left ear. Angle the earbuds slightly so the microphone is pointing towards your mouth, and you can also rotate them forward and backward until they feel secure. To enhance your listening experience and make the sound a bit louder, don’t forget to explore the EQ settings in the Wearable app. If you have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

These are kind of a chore to wear.

I think these sound great, and have amazing features, but they do not stay in my ear even after looking up samsungs placement video, and they need a very specific placement anyway to get that sound. Since you will be constantly adjusting them you will also be constantly fighting the touch controls. If you want to actually take advantage of the touch controls you are most likely going to pop them out. There are no included wing tips or accessories for fitting so its a luck of the draw if your ear shape is compatible with them.
Any movement is a risk of wedging them out of your ear. Tilting, turning your head, reaching up or swallowing, chewing, or smiling. Talking into them invites all kinds of movement so that wont be anywhere close to a hands free experience.
I wouldn't buy this unless you are 100% sure on the fit. I'm not sure where and why you would want to try on a display model though. Maybe you can find one laying around on the ground since that is where they love to be.

Hey there Bill! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy Buds3. We're thrilled to see your interest in our innovative design! The open-type design of the Galaxy Buds3 provides a unique listening experience, allowing for a more natural awareness of your surroundings. This setup eliminates the need for earbud tips, making it easier to wear for extended periods. If you're trying to get the perfect fit, remember to check the directional marks on the earbuds. The “R” and “L” indicators make it straightforward to place them correctly, with the R bud in your right ear and the L bud in your left. Adjusting the angle of the buds so that the microphone is pointed towards your mouth enhances call clarity, too! Feel free to rotate them slightly to find a comfortable position that works best for you. We understand that every ear is unique, and we want your experience to be just right! If you have any more feedback or questions about your Galaxy Buds3, please be sure to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Don't Buy

Initial connection was seamless, and the sound is amazing! However, after a few weeks, I started having a problem with one of the earbuds not being recognized by the case, thus not charging. I was able to clean the earbud tip, re-set them to factory settings and get them to work again. In a few short weeks, the same issue happened, only this time I wasn't able to fix it. Samsung support was worthless. I apparently have to travel 40 miles to the nearest shop to have it fixed - I shouldn't have to do this after only a few months, and I don't have any hope this will fix the issue permanently. I only used them approximately 10 times. I am super disappointed. I read other reviews which identified this as an issue but thought that they may have been isolated cases. Don't waste your money...

When one of the earbuds isn't recognized by the case, it's important to ensure the charging contacts on both the earbud and the case are clean and free of sweat or liquid. Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Galaxy Buds3. It’s important to us to ensure you have the best experience. For sound quality, we recommend checking the equalizer settings in the Galaxy Wearable app. Adjusting these can help tailor the audio to better suit your preferences. Also, make sure that the Active Noise Cancellation feature is activated in the app. If the noise cancelling still isn’t meeting your expectations, consider resetting the earbuds, as this can help resolve any performance concerns. Regarding the fit, the Galaxy Buds3 is designed for comfort and stability. If they are not staying in place, adjusting their position slightly may improve the fit, as small changes can make a significant difference. Thank you again for your insights. We hope these suggestions enhance your experience with the Galaxy Buds3. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

They are good, not excellent, but very good.

I give it four stars because yes, it is true that the placement of the headphones at first is a little uncomfortable, the rest when you already know them and know how to locate them they do not fall easily and it is a matter of being able to adjust them or find, let's say, an ideal position so that they do not fall easily, the rest of the sound is very good, the sound cancellation and the AI function is good, the only reason why I give it four stars is because of the detail of the adjustment and I would say that it is difficult for one to learn to locate it at first. The design is elegant and sophisticated.

Do not buy the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro!!! They sound great but they are horribly unreliable. Will not charge consistently in cradle. Bluetooth connectivity issues. Not really IP86. Finicky controls.

Thank you for your feedback on the Galaxy Buds3! We're glad to hear that you’re enjoying the sound quality. If you’re experiencing charging inconsistencies, we recommend checking that the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case are clean and dry. Moisture or sweat can interfere with proper charging, so gently wiping them with a dry, soft brush or cotton swab before placing them in the case can help ensure a solid connection. If the battery indicator light on the case flashes red, it may indicate moisture or debris. Cleaning the contacts and reinserting the earbuds often resolves this. For Bluetooth connection stability, be sure to keep your earbuds and device within close range and free from any physical barriers. If the signal weakens or drops, try restarting the earbuds or pairing them again through the Galaxy Wearable app to refresh the connection. Regarding controls, the Pinch and Swipe system is designed for ease and reliability. Pinch to control playback and calls, and swipe to adjust the volume. If the controls are inconsistent, ensuring the gesture area is clean and free from moisture may improve responsiveness. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

glitchy. would not recommend or buy again.

Glitchy. Sound cuts out for several seconds at a time multiple times every single time I use them. Not sure if it's caused by the noise canceling feature or maybe in ear detection. They don't fit snuggly so you're forced to use the noise canceling unless you are in a completely silent environment. Noise canceling is useless in noisy environments. It frequently, randomly emits the tone that indicates I have placed them in my ear. Would not recommend.
Update: incredibly condescending response from 'Kelvin' was unhelpful and completely failed to address the issues I'm having. I spent good money on these earbuds and they've been mostly an annoyance. Jabra makes great earbuds.

Hi Abraham! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy Buds3. We noted your concerns about the fit. It's important to note that the Galaxy Buds3 are designed as open-type buds, meaning they do not come with adjustable ear tips like traditional canal-type earbuds. To get started, you can simply place them in your ears. Make sure to check for the directional marks at the bottom of the earbuds, with an "L" for the left bud and an "R" for the right. When inserting them, position the R bud in your right ear with the R facing you and do the same for the L bud in your left ear. You can also adjust their angle slightly so the microphone is pointing towards your mouth rather than straight down. We do understand that it may take some time for some users to get used to this new design, and we recommend experimenting by rotating them forwards or backwards until you find the fit that feels right. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin
