The Best 2 in 1 Computer I Have Ever Had
on May 21, 2026
Posted by: Ramlue1228
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5 Reasons Why:
1. GALAXY AI on a Computer! I never had a computer with built-in AI capabilities. I never thought I needed one until I have one. The Galaxy AI is a very helpful tool from searching through editing to creating anything. This does not only make things easier but smarter!
2. Crazy Battery Life. On an average work and home usage, I would always charge my previous computers at least twice a day everyday. Sometimes, when I'm teaching, I would have to plug it in to make sure it stays charged. But now that I have Galaxy Book5 Pro, I never have to charge everyday. I can have all my work done and will still have enough to watch a movie at night and it I would often still have about 40-50% of battery. I now usually charge it at least once every 2-3 days.
3. Tablet Option. Since this is a 2 in 1 Laptop/Tablet computer, the option to use just the screen is a first time experience for me, and I am loving it. The option to use just the screen whenever I am presenting and I do not need the keyboard is very useful to me!
4. S-pen Capability. Editing anything using my computer has never been this easier and efficient at the same time. Photo and document editing has never been this good. I can easily screenshot and edit anything I want on the screen. This is is very useful.
5. Seamless Connection. As a teacher, I use my laptop everyday: document processing, presentation. The best part is the quick and seamless connection to my Samsung TV in my classroom.

Screen Spontaneously Cracked
on May 27, 2026

The screen is a big issue. My 16" Book5 Pro screen spontaneously cracked sitting on my desk. Nothing was even touching it when it happened. Completely unexplainable. Possibly a thermal expansion issue from what I have read online. I just bought it new in December and it was only 4 months old. Still in immaculate condition, never dropped, bumped, or anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty and Sleek

Recently got it this week. The design is very sleek and thin, comparable to my 24 ultra in a phone case, that is how thin it is! The screen is durable and is not flexible. The rotation from laptop to tablet is very smooth. I enjoy the ability to split windows smoothly. The pen does not insert but it has a spot on the outside that it sticks to by a magnet. Operationally, I have no issues with lag. Connectivity works great. Screen quality is beautiful. The camera quality is as expected of a laptop, and looks good in a well lit room. I use a 8k webcam anyways so it doesn't really matter to me, but if you were to use it be in a brighter room or turn up your laptop brightness. Charging is usb c and very fast, battery life is about 9-10 hours. No issues with overheating while working on multiple things at once. It has not felt hot whether in laptop mode or tablet mode
the cooling system has been up to par. Honestly, you get what you pay for with this one. Very versatile. It also has fingerprint scanner on it! I have been enjoying this laptop for my schoolwork as well as comically large tablet gaming. Treat your laptop with care, otherwise you should search for cases and sleeves prior to purchase. 🫶🏽
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would have kept my Galaxy pro
on July 10, 2025

Ok laptop but I preferred my old Galaxy pro. First thing is the Galaxy5 pro 360 is crazy HEAVY. I also will probably never use the 360 function. It leaves the keyboard exposed and every time I try to flip the screen I hit buttons and mess things up. Would be much better if there was a cover for the keyboard or something. The pen only attaches to the back of the screen using a weak magnet, there is no reasonable or secure way to attach the S pen. I find the touch screen to be weak. I use a Panasonic tough book at work and the screen is far superior for signing forms, my galaxy5 pro 360 touch screen works less than half the time when trying to sign something, my Galaxy phone works great for this. The only pro I have noticed over my original Galaxy book pro is the AI button on the keyboard.

Hello Jorge,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360. We appreciate your candor as we improve the design and functionality of our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which can be added to eligible devices. It's similar to extended warranty and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It would cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you the ultimate peace of mind when added to your eligible devices. The keyboard on the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 automatically locks when it's folded into tablet mode, preventing any accidental input by ensuring that only the touchscreen is active. Please make sure you're placing the S Pen on the designated charging area on the back of your device as misalignment can prevent the S Pen from attaching and charging properly. If you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer.

Laptop features are great!

I love this new laptop. I am able to use my screen extender that I have as well as my phone and have 3 extra screens with the battery power to do so. When I am not using my extra screens the battery lasts all day. I am able to take my laptop with me to school and work on it without the charger for an entire work shift. I like the quick share as well. The sound and anti glare for when I'm using my laptop outside is also great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Amazing
on January 3, 2025

TLDR: Generally, I am disappointed to say the laptop is not amazing.
I had a version of this from a few generations ago and it doesn't feel like nearly the upgrade that it is on paper. It works fine once settings are changed to high performance, but certainly nothing to write home about. The Samsung software is buggy and often doesn't work correctly and something feels off about the track pad. Also, Samsung Notes AI features are not present on the galaxy book version of the software. Add this to the fact that you can't use Samsung Notes on a desktop anymore, and it leaves me questioning if it's worth continued investment in the Samsung ecosystem. If you can live without Samsung Notes, the answer is probably no. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a good cross platform option other than Samsung Notes, for now...
Pros: The screen is beautiful and writing/note taking is wonderful. The laptop is probably worth it on sale, but I wouldn't advocate for paying full price.
