I do make quilts and do piecing but had some other projects when the machine came. (I had to watch and rewatch videos to learn this machine.) Pillowcases and some garments have seams that need to be overcast or otherwise finished. This machine will NOT do even a simple edge zigzag nor any of the all in one seam stitches. The only two zigzag feet with the machine don't seem to have a full bottom plate for even pressure in that right hand cut edge of seam. Adjusting upper thread tension is no aid, the stitches glom up toward the left side, making a jelly roll kind of thing as I stitch. I believe I'm missing a proper presser foot.

Thank you for letting us know about this. Your feedback helps us get better. We are looking into this issue and hope to resolve it promptly.
I am a brand new sewer who bought this machine to learn how to quilt. Yes, I love a good challenge. That being said, I'm in love with this machine! I find it very user friendly and so far, I have been very pleased with the two quilting blocks that I've already created.
So far so good! My Quilters Confidence machine only last 6 years. I'm hoping this one will last longer. I'm old school, wish it came with a handbook instead of going online to get information.
I love all the features, especially the 'foot pedal free' option. My back issues have caused numbness in my feet, which makes it hard to use the foot pedal. The bobbin winder works flawlessly and threading the needle with the needle threader is a welcome addition for my aging eyes. Thank you for a great upgrade from my original Singer, which is 40 years old!
Just started to learn to sew at 60 years old. This is the best machine to start learning on. My teacher had us learn on this machine . It’s a must buy.
