I love this machine. This machine is very easy to thread and the bobbin is very easy to fill. Singer has been one of my favorite brands for many years. Thank you for making a good quality machine at a great price.
So far I am loving this machine, sews very nice stitches, the variety of feet is excellent. I just quilted a table runner stitching in the ditch using the feather stich. It looks great. I have not had it very long and have not had time to try thr free motion quilting but am anxious to try it
I have enjoyed all the features on my new machine. This is the first Singer that I have owned. The only complaint that I have is that the power cord into the machine does not stay plugged in. Kind of annoying when your sewing and it comes unplugged and the machine stops.
Great machine for basic quilting. Could use a better 1/4 inch piecing foot (I'm using the one off my old Janome machine). The one that came with the Singer "quilting" model is not much more than a straight seam foot. Very easy to set up and use.
After ten years I picked up sewing again and bought this new machine. And I'm having sew much fun with it. It's quiet and smooth. I especially like not having to guess stitch lengthens when I switch to another pattern. I'm in heaven!
Had I known that this machine would be so difficult to thread I never would have bought it. The needle threader gets in the way and you cannot remove it. Also, the lighting on the machine is very poor. I can't wait to get back home and use my Viking.
The machine is great but the book I received doesn't give a whole lot of instruction on how to use the various settings. Guess I need to go back to sewing school.
